So, do guys figure Jay's even in the same state?
I have this amazing mental image of Jay showing up at the front counter being all "heeey, room... Erm- 12 here. Could you maybe tell me what state I'm in and how long I've been here?"

what do you wanna bet that our splendid example of common sense and intuitive leaps (J) has had the forethought to go to a local gas station and picking up a map. I would be getting the hell out of Dodge, talking to some cops, pulling the videos off of the internet, buying a gun (or two) burning any and all tapes that I currently had, and moving to a different country, preferably one that I can buy a large amount of land, cut down any and all trees/ hiding places, layering security cams and floodlights EVERYWHERE, and hiring at least 5 people as a personal body guard. But heh, I game alot, so maybe I'm just paranoid, and know that this ends badly any other way.

Man! That'd be a seriously disappointing turn of events for all of us!

First of all, hi everyone, this is my first post here. Been following Marble Hornets for a LONG time now. Entering this forum seemed like the thing to do.
Now, regarding this entry, I donŽt know if someone else shares this theory with me:
J woke up after 7 months, camera strapped to him, with an apparently unused tape. What happened to the rest of the tapes of his last 7 months?
They are in the safe.
Someone (tta) might leave leads for him to follow and open the safe when the time is right, so he can look over his last months through the tapes. Why? WeŽll see...

you guys kind of dismissed speculation about the key, but i think speculation is still valid. i don't think jay plans on going back to where he was, so i see no point in linking back the flashlight, pills, key, etc. back to entries 16, 18 and the lot as symbols left by the perpetrator. what i do see is a door between jay's and jessica's that has a normal door handle and may potentially have a keyhole (though it's hard to tell due to shadows/darkness). everything else in the hotel operates via keycard (hotel room front door) or keypad (safe) and there are no other locations of interest at this point.

also, i will piss myself if the code is 2539 ("ALEX" if you're going classic cell phone keypad).

I think that the location that the key unlocks is going to be revealed. In #30, Jay knocks on the door, but the noises were going on right up until Jay knocked on the door. And then we see that Jess approached the door tired, as if she got up from bed. And wouldn't Jay have noticed if the noises were coming from the door as he approached it?
Using only the evidence up to 28, this theory is viable, but as of 30, not as much. Not that it's impossible, just unlikely.

fair enough. i just had this amazing vision where jay tries to unlock their suite door while the noises are still going on so he can see what's actually happening in there...

I prefer being the quiet observer, but I am doing a report on nonepileptic convulsive seizures (topic choice being influenced by our little Masky) and this thought crossed my mind. This is probably a horrible idea, I'm sure that someones thrown this before and I haven't looked thoroughly through all the posts, but I'll give it a whirl.

After a seizure one is recommended to take ibuprofen for the pain caused by seizing if needed. It's possible that Masky's seizures are recurring and that he has ibuprofen for after-headaches? (it could also be anti-seizing medicine). The fact that Jay takes them now could allude to the fact that he is becoming a 'Masky', also having seizures and not remembering them (or was having them the seven months he can't remember). Is it possible that the noises from Jessica's room could be of her seizing?

Buncha dumb ideas, everyone's welcome to ignore me.

Edit: Jessica is "losing time", which is also a common phrase for seizure patients (according to my Nurse-Aunt and google O.o). They don't remember what happened to them except maybe that they have "lost time". Another connection that probably doesn't mean anything, but yeah.

I think the banging sounds too slow and deliberate to be someone having a seizure. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the pills were related to seizures though.

First bold is the first outright said-by-a-doctor link for ibu. use, which I think helps our case. (Our means the "it IS ibuprofen in that jar, but it could still mean Jay s sicker than just a headache).

The next bold I LOVE! A physical link (not just speculated but supported by medical fact) to Slendy's memory loss effects and seizures. Niiiice.

This all could still be trout though, I sure as hell haven't read every single post ever made here. I like to sleep and eat sometimes Razz

Maybe it's me , but, when Jay found the key he seems to get scared and got up kind of fast, then, a large shadow can be seen. 1:38

That's Jay's shadow as he stands up...

Funny though, I keep forgetting that he found a key. Razz

That has to be at least somewhat important.

Alex had a huge keyring in Entry #45.
