I don't leave my keys when I leave the house - I take them with me. Why would he leave them there and pick them up when he got back?

I know it's really reaching for anything, but I couldn't help but notice it.

It could be that Alex picked his keys up as he came into the house again! I mean, it seems a bit silly that he'd hang his keys up as he left the house and take them back when he returned, but it's possible.

Now that I think about it, it probably isn't the same house. It's enough to make me think of it, though, which makes it not plot significant, but excellent filmmaking - exploiting previous moments for later scares. Brilliance.

I still think there is something in the Operator drawings. I'm going to get a comparison shot of the bleeding headlights.

Are you sure that's Alex walking by the closet? Looks a lot like the operator to me.

Jay breaks in and starts snooping.
The porch door opens and closes audibly.
Jay freaks and hides in the closet.
From the same direction of the porch door, a "figure" walks forward.
Jay's phone vibrates and he silences it.
From the right, where the figure went, we have Alex's voice leaving a voicemail.
Jay exits the closet and tries to run.
From the same direction of the figure, Alex comes out of no where.

If it was the Operator, how would Alex be back there? How would he have made it to that room without walking past the closet?

I honestly don't know. The only reason I could come up with is that we know there is some sort of link between Alex and the Operator, though we don't know the extent of it.

Perhaps the Operator was mimicking or even transmitting Alex's voice? I really don't know, it's just that the legs and feet look rather large, looks like business pants and shoes, and the figure walks silently, slowly, taking big steps. Kinda creeping like the Operator did when Alex was sleeping and whatnot (I forget the entry number. I think it's 11). That's my reasoning for doubting its Alex.

That, and I had a "feeling" that the Operator would appear as Jay was hiding in the closet, concentrating the camera at one still spot on the floor. It's similar camerawork that we've seen earlier when the Operator "creeps" on screen. It just feels like an Operator appearance, to me at least. On my first view I was honestly thinking that the Operator slammed the door and waltzed in while Jay was exploring Alex's Operator Art Museum.

I could see that but I don't believe it, unless the Operator is starting to wear jeans...

Agree. I stopped frame by frame and couldn't find this.

Maybe it has something to do with his various wrist accessories?

I got the cap from 2:22, right after he makes a break for the front door.

Just wanna say this is the first entry that's made me squeal in slight fear for a long time.

Considering I have work early in the morning, and nightmare fuel doesn't work on me, I'll have to save a lot of speculation for the morning. However, I think this entry has revealed more than we've gotten from it so far. I'm not going to bother rehashing what points have been proven in past pages.

I will say that this was a fairly satisfying entry. We answered a few questions, got a few more to investigate, and drew some more connections.

Now... where could TTA be...

Oh God, the bracelet and rock jokes have already started.
On second glance, I guess the door isn't the same as Return. Ah well.

Does anyone else agree on my post about closets a few pages back?
Especially since Jay TELEPORTED into a closet at one point?
And now we're seeing BONE again...

door on the right is totally smooth, door on the left has indentations. I don't think it's the same place tbh

And, after listening to the audio commentary on the Season 1 DVD, I got the impression that they had moved from the house shown in Return and may not have access to it anymore for filming. Or I could be completely wrong.

First Post!

Hey guys, I've been a lurker for quite some time, but a thought had occurred to me and I thought you guys would want to know. This entry is strongly suggesting that this occured at the same time as Entry 45, due to the fact that Alex is walking pretty much the same way and he is looking for a disturbance outdoors, as in the last entry (not to mention he did not have any trash with him). If this is the case, then there is a strong suggestion that time travel might have been involved in this night. Granted, the two entries being the same is only circumstantial, but if it's the case, (entry 45) Alex would have heard a disturbance and went out the door, to which Jay would be waiting in the bushes (entry 46).

But here's where the rub is. This would mean that Alex would have been attacked by the maskies in the woods (which could explain why he never heard Jay army stomping up the stairs) ((45, 46)). In my opinion, there is not enough time that Alex would have been attacked by the maskies, have the maskies run away and then dust himself off and get back to the house (45). There might have been teleportation involved with Alex. Not to mention, we did not hear any screaming when Jay was in the house (46).

But let's say that I am wrong about teleportation and that there was enough time for that (meaning that our friend that walked by the closet was suitboy). Why then, was Alex so calm in speaking to Jay right after he was assalted? Something fishy has to be going on.

Just throwing my two cents Rolling Eyes

No. Doors are wrong. The corner in Return has no door, whereas the corner in Entry 46 has no door. Pretty sure the house in Return is the same house that Jay was dicking around in during the earlier uploads.

Oh, I found it. Great find, man.

Everyone else, acknowledge that TO appears again from 2:21-2:22.

Tearing When Jay is Outside

Another tidbit I noticed: Does anyone else notice that when Jay is outside walking into Alex's house at about 1:09 or so, there is visual tearing at the top when he walks through the spot the Operator first appears?

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff259/AaronRageRose/Tearing.png?t=1312343879

Random, I know, could just be the usual 'Operator is nearby' business, but I thought it interesting that it happened BEFORE he showed up.

There's distortion when he appears, but I don't see a lot of the visual tearing that normally occurs after that. Maybe so we can get a clear look at Alex's evil-face?

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned the key might be related to Jessica. I've thought about this more, and doesn't it make sense a bit? What if the key used to be owned by Amy since Jessica was her roommate if I'm following this correctly. Maybe this is the key to Jess's new place, and how Jay eventually comes to meet Jessica. Or something.
