Yes, read a few pages back. Razz
"BONES 8/10"

Likely they guy who installed it marked when it was last inspected.

As to the "Leading", perhaps there is more than one Operator? And they all don't get along. And the one that J lead there? The foe of Alex's personal Demon. That's why he wrote "Help" on his little summoning sheets.

I think it's pretty much been implied it's been one figure stalking and teleporting.
Most likely Alex wants to be freed from the Operator's influence?

I dunno. This who season Mr. Thin's behavior has been a little.... inconsistent. He's not the same tall, dark, and loomy we grew to love last season. I mean, he's not showing up in the same fashion, nor does he seem to want the same thing.

Not that I'm saying I can read some eldric horror from beyond space and time's mind, but its makes you wonder. Perhaps Slenderman is just how "Operators" appear to J.

Or maybe I've been doing database work too long.

*looks in awe*

there are multiple faceless figures on the book. This is probably the first reasonable "Multiple Slendies" comment's I've seen.

What were the intentions of the Operator in the first season compared to the second season?

Last season you could easily say that all Mr. Thin wanted was Jay, or rather something Jay had. Perhaps the tapes, perhaps it was some bit of knowledge. But it was SOMETHING. There was a reason this seemingly limitless being was stalking a college kid. Heck, even Masky seemed to want something from him, even it it was just to get Mr. Thin off his back.

This season? He seems to be all over the place. He got what he wanted from J last season, or so we can assume by Alex being brought back into play. What reason does he have then for wanting after J? Also, why doesn't he just pull a good old fashioned "Teleblorp" into J's room and get it? There are too many questions for me to think that Mr. Thin's motives are the same this season as they were last season.

It could simply be a matter of scope. There are more players on the board now, so Mr. Thin has changed it game. Or perhaps know that we see the play at large the details we had before no longer matter. But his methods have changed drastically from last season, and this must be an indication of something.

For as sure as the sun will set, its not something J's doing differently.

What evidence is there to show that TO wanted Jay in season 1? You mean Alex?

Only on page 9, but just HAD to post...
The screen cap of Alex's face with The Oprah-raptor in the background filled my eyes with tears. Literally. I'm just glad I have a wife to cuddle up with as I try to sleep...

No, J. Remember, in Season 1 J started to film himself. At this point, Mr. Thin started to show up. I can't fathom another reason to stalk some one other than wanting something they have.

EDIT: This was admitted to in Entry 19

After watching the video a few times I think I figured out the movement in it. Jay's in the closet, person or think walks by. Phone rings, we hear Alex. Jay's camera starts to destort and he panics, coming out of the closet and going into Alex's room. Alex comes up BEHIND HIM from the living room, grabs the tape from him and Jay grabs the flashlight from him. While the flashlight is off they move into the living room. They talk, Jay turns the flashlight on and points it back toward Alex's bedroom onto Slendy then turns and hits the door, grabs the key and runs like hell.

I kind of have to agree. I think it was Slendy that passed by.

THANK YOU!! (That was me who said that, btw). I just watched the video a fourth or fifth time and I'm pretty sure events happen like so:

1. Jay is stalkin' Alex.
2. Alex goes to "take out trash".
3. Jay takes advantage of Alex so kindly leaving the door open, stampedes inside. (Solid Snake would disapprove, btw).
4. Jay is snooping through Alex's room with the desk, drawings, book, and tape.
(Here's where it gets important to keep track of character locations. Alex is still outside preoccupied with the trash at this time).

5. We hear the front door slam. Jay makes like Clock Tower (a run-and-hide game, btw) and hides in the hall closet.

Now...
6. We see someone quietly walking by the closet.
I honestly do not see jeans. The pant legs are just too straight. I see business suit pants, and GIANT shoes and legs. You can hear the oomph the figure walks with, suggesting heavy footsteps. As I described earlier, the camera stays still, allowing whoever is walking by to steal the scene. We hear and see quiet, steady footsteps.
7. Jay is a derp and leaves his phone on, it goes off. The lights are also turned off, you can hear the switch flick.

8. Yes, we do hear Alex leaving a voice message. I don't really have an explanation for this, other than the possibility of the Operator mimicking Alex's voice. I believe there was speculation over whether or not the Operator could do this back in around entry 40 where Jay gets messages from Alex that eventually lead him to the Operator encounter in the woods. But later (42?) Alex himself acts as though he has no knowledge that the
Operator was located in the woods.

9. Jay gets out of the closet. We immediately see the Operator staring down Jay from outside the window. It's pitch black so I can't really tell where the camera is facing, but considering the blindfolds its probably the living room window that the Operator is next to.

10. It's confusing to keep track of where in the house the camera is facing at this point. It does look like Alex is coming out of the study, though.

11. After the conversation, the Operator is gone from the window. Jay turns around to find the Operator coming from the study where the figure walked towards...

...Oh wow. My head hurts. Now I can see why most people think it's Alex lol.

Argh!

Alex had to have walked TO THE ROOM to GET THE FLASHLIGHT! X_X

How would he magically appear there, people? Is he suddenly teleporting? Did the Operator get it and hand it to him like, "Here you go, buddy, now run along and give Jay his flashlight back!"

Why would the Operator walk through the house, then teleport out to the window, then teleport back into the same spot?

Why would he call Jay?

Why didn't the camera have any distortion?

Slendy only started showing up when Masky entered the game. I always thought that TO never really cared about Jay, seeing as how he ignored JAy in Return seemingly and I don't know what happened in that abandoned house. It was a face shot of Slendy, which doesn't make sense seeing as how Jay would've ran away at this point. Slendy was mostly after Alex in Season 1.

Just watched it. Well, at least we know the key is a plot point now, and Alex needs to get something in his head checked. Perhaps Slendy is tied to being filmed? Maybe he can only see you if you've got a camera, like the camera is his "eye".

On another note, when Jay saw him and ran, did anyone lol when Alex said, "Where are you going?"

Also, I think he may have said something besides "you lead it right here" since, you know, he seems pretty oblivious to the fact that TO is anywhere near. Maybe he says "You left it right here." meaning the flashlight? I know it sounds like lead, but Alex doesn't seem to notice or even care that he's there. And if he does know TO's about, why does he question when Jay is running away?

I just squished my ear to the speaker. It definitely says "lead", not "left", in my mind. Perhaps he's still trying to make Jay think he's on his side, but as soon as The Operator appears behind him he just decides "FUCK IT LET'S TRY TO KILL HIM" or something?

Also, that book looks to me a little on the large side to be a typical journal sold at, say, Barnes & Noble.

I heard lead too, honestly. Doesn't mean it makes sense though. If Alex was aware of TO, then he didn't care at all.

Yeah. I almost typed earlier that "left" would make more sense (since it's pretty obvious, imo, that he doesn't mind The Operator anymore), but I just can't hear it.

THIS OH MY GOD ESPECIALLY WHEN HE APPEARS THE SECOND TIME

Honestly, I didn't hear Jay's phone go off the first time I listened to the video. I was more surprised Alex didn't hear Jay clomping up the stairs.

I had to pause the video when his phone went off so I could laugh without interrupting my viewing experience. Hehe, I mean, really Jay. It's like you just set yourself up to be found.

Also, Alex in the next room and his "Don't know why you're not answering your phone" right after the phone vibrates and right before "HEY JAY YOU LEFT YOUR FLASHLIGHT" tells me that Alex did, in fact, hear Jay's loud clunking army march up the stairs and knew he was there the whole time.
...Or he's in a Slendtrance and TO is sort of omnipotent.

It's certainly possible, but I mean, I hardly heard it, so it's not a stretch of the mind, imo, that that's not what tipped Alex off. He did find a random new flashlight, so it'd make sense that he thinks someone's there... and it makes the most sense for that person to be Jay to him.

Alex is coming out of the room that Jay left the flashlight in. He was the one who walked down the hallway, not The Operator. (Have we even seen The Operator actually walking before...?)

Alex is coming out of the room that Jay left the flashlight in. He was the one who walked down the hallway, not The Operator. (Have we even seen The Operator actually walking before...?)

Yeah, in that entry in the playground. Entry 3 I think?

I was talking about when we've seen the operator walk. In season 1.
