We're growing a forest with all these quote trees.

In the tapes Jay have seen, the Operator was interested in Alex.
In current time during Season 1, the Operator seemed curious of Jay but it was mostly Masky who was interested in him.
In Season 2, the Operator is definitely messing with Alex, but he has on several occasions interacted (or at least tried to) with Jay, especially when he found him in the forest all alone.

I've always believed that the operator has been just trying to take over Alex this entire time, (like the old woman and the main guy in Insidious) but Jay and the Maskies have just been getting in the way, which is the only reason TO even acknowledges them.

Like I said in my other post:
Quote:
I believe it's pretty obvious TO has been simply wanting Alex. And now he's almost completely taken over him. It's like In Insidious (SPOILERS) when the old woman gets closer and closer to the main guy in photos, and at the end when he finally confronts the demon lady, she takes over his body. Actually, it's surprisingly shocking to me now that I realize how closely the relatinoship between TO and Alex is between the demon lady and the main guy/

OK guys, just a quick bit before I go to bed... I'll read all the posts here tomorrow while I'm at work, I promise...

I'm pretty sure Jay is hiding in the same room that Alex takes a good, hard, long look at in entry #44. Dunno about y'all, but that implies to me that this entry takes place before #44(which doesn't seem to make a lotta sense, given everything else that's going on).

Anyone else with me on this, or have anything else to add?

Actually, this gave me an idea... Edit: Actually, I'm just agreeing with you.

Alex said, "You lead it here" in this Entry.

If we look at #44 being after this entry, Alex seems pretty nervous in his own apartment. And then the Operator shows up...

What if it WAS Jay's fault the Operator took Alex at the end?

I'm almost positive that these are taking place in chronological order, aside from the unmarked ones that Jay points out.

Argh!

Alex had to have walked TO THE ROOM to GET THE FLASHLIGHT! X_X

How would he magically appear there, people? Is he suddenly teleporting? Did the Operator get it and hand it to him like, "Here you go, buddy, now run along and give Jay his flashlight back!"

Why would the Operator walk through the house, then teleport out to the window, then teleport back into the same spot?

Why would he call Jay?

Why didn't the camera have any distortion?

Okay, okay, now I see why it's Alex. I was confused because Oppy appeared at the end from Alex's room so that's why. Then I was under the impression that Jay dropped his flashlight outside or in the living room somewhere, and Alex was picking it up on his way back to his room to bust Jay.

But for the record, CAN Alex teleport? If Tim can/could, why not Alex? Jay has teleported too before, although not at will. (inb4 "what if errybody is just telepurting all the time, hurp durp!" Razz )

... And there have been times where the Operator has been on camera with little to no distortion (Return).

I'm not trying to further argue my points on this entry or anything, I just wanted to leave something to think about/remember.

The videos from Alex are date-stamped because they were on the hard drive.
Jay's videos from the 7 months are from unmarked tapes (well, some of them were marked) he found in the safe.

This video was from Jay's point of view.

Ah okay no worries. Smile

I'm not too sure. There have been no Alex teleporting sights 'cept at the end of Entry #44 but I'm sure that was from the Operator taking him.

Ah, yes, I forgot. Also, could you reply to my other post about what Slendy wants?

I disagree with the idea of switching the chronology.

Alex says, "You lead it here" because he can no longer sense it. He thought he escaped because he is now insensitive to its presence, thus no more cameras.

Someone pointed out that Alex pretty clearly knew Jay was there the whole time. He walks in and INSTANTLY calls Jay, then grabs the flashlight, and isn't the least bit surprised to see him. I think Alex knew it was only time before Jay followed him and saw the flashlight as he walked down the hall, giving him time to call Jay as he picked it up.

I believe the key is to Brian's house from season 1. All the locked doors must be opened. Think of Admission.

You can see blue jeans if you look at the legs walk past the camera. Slendy is clearly outside in one scene, Jay says he is gone, and then poof, inside and Alex is oblivious.

If you go back to Brian's closet in 16, you can see an skeletal arm/hand in the Bone closet. Not sure if people noticed this before but I caught it my first time thru and now think there is reason for it.

I'm not too sure. I'm starting to believe that the order is out. But then again, Alex came back after #44 apparently, then was confronted by Maskies in #45. I'm not too sure what any of this means. Why would the Operator take Alex and send him back? For what purpose?

Wasn't the door unlocked when he came back to the house and he teleported to that underground place where Seth was dragged off?

Yeah, the door was unlocked (EDIT: actually it was wide open), and for the unknown order of the recent posts, I just want to know when Jay found out were Alex lived, since the Entry's or Jays twitter haven't referenced another meeting since 44.

I think entry #45 probable takes place after entry #46. I went back and watched #45 and I noticed that there was no key on the wall.

this may just a inconsistency but that doesn't seem like them....

Jay said that he found tapes of him tailing Alex. He probably saw him one day and decided to follow him back to his house.

Maybe Slendy started out like that, but then grew into a tangible being with a mind of his own?

Like i tulpa?

Yeah, I was just hoping for something more elaborate than that... (lol)
