Camera on Alex's computer

The camera is on top of Alex's Computer - notice in Entry 44 when he goes to bed, it's no longer there: because he's moved it to be just atop his bed, and is using it to film what we see in Entry 44.

Yeah, but is the camera on? It looks like it's off, but there's no way to know for sure. Maybe he feels that he doesn't need to record himself any more.

Maybe, in a last heroic ditch, he doesn't want people to know about his deal with the devil, as enough people have been affected already.

That could be it, except that if Entry #45, and possibly Entry # 38, take place after Entry #46, then it doesn't make sense why he'd go back to recording himself.

Also, I find it interesting that both times the word "BONE" has appeared, it's been in closets that contained pipes and plumbing appliances. Are we meant to associate "BONE" with water?

I personally think that we're back to regular timeline since the way Alex said "I specifically told you not to follow me home!" made it sound like Entry 46 was not too long after Entry 43. And I'd think Jay would have said something.

Maybe Jay and Alex went on some more adventures during the three months, but didn't find anything noteworthy, but throughout the whole trip had been telling Jay not to go to his house? I'm willing to admit at this point that it may be more likely that Entry 46 took place before the 3 month jump, but at the rate this is going, it's going to take FOREVER to get to the end of the seven month period. I thought at first Troy skipped 3 months if only because it was all taking too long. :p

Yeah, the wording might be the only clue we get until the next video or tweet ect.

Chronological disagreements aside, isn't it at least possible that he IS filming himself, he just doesn't have the camera with him? Couldn't he have set it down to take the trash out, and then just not bother grabbing it when he's coming back to confront Jay? Granted, there's no hard evidence for it, but it's not like he doesn't use stationary cameras around his house in other entries.
