Chronological disagreements aside, isn't it at least possible that he IS filming himself, he just doesn't have the camera with him? Granted, there's no hard evidence for it, but it's not like he doesn't use stationary cameras around his house in other entries.


That's why we need to know if the camera was on. I mean, this is the guy that went so far as to get a camera strapped to his chest because he was that paranoid about Slendy appearing anywhere, so it seems odd and out of character for him to suddenly not keep a camera with him AT ALL TIMES.

 		I have such a headache just thinking about the last 3 entries. In all of them, Alex's behavior is somewhat consistent, yet bizarre. And this is making it difficult to place them in a timeline. I still think there's a connection between all three (44-46) as well as 43. I also wanna say the camera on top of the computer might be recording just because Alex not recording himself does not fit with what all is going on.

So, new timeline for entries 43-46, Assuming Alex's camera is recording on top of the cmoputer (or another camera somewhere is recording)

43- go to amy's house, alex says dont follow him, drops Jay off at hotel
45- Alex recording himself, he's a bit paranoid, gets attack by Team Masky (I do not know why this one is the only one marked 3 months after finding Alex, could be just some videos were timestamped on the hard drive and others weren't?)
44- Comes home, calls Jess saying he found amy, slender sickness from attack in the woods and slendy is called upon somehow
46- Jay comes the night after, Alex is still somewhat paranoid, but mostly pissed.

If he ISN'T recording himself in entry 46, then I have no idea why Alex begins filming himself in the first month but then stops and picks up recording again.

Maybe he just doesn't record himself while he's possibly under the influence of The Operator. While he isn't being controlled, he keeps the cameras on him at all time to have further evidence of TO (or why ever he's always recording). But while he is controlled, he doesn't record, since TO is camera-shy.

Just my thought.

I absolutely haven't read through the rest of these posts ( I usually only make it through about 20 anyways, but I've been in a rush and got started a day late this time! Wink ) Also, this is my first post, but my boyfriend is starting to regret getting me into Marble Hornets after listening to my babble about it so often, so I figured I'd finally contribute a bit here. Laughing

I kept speculating about the writing on Alex's basement wall, because it fascinated me. I would assume that "8/10" holds some significance--the date the next video will be posted, perhaps? As a friend im'd me and I was reminded of the video, another thought occurred to me, however... "Bone" is exactly the type of title TTA would give one of his videos. What if TTA posts a video entitled "Bone" next Wednesday? For me, that seems like it would be a major pointer to the idea that Alex is TTA. The only other thing that would explain something like that would be that either A) Alex & TTA are working together somehow, and TTA left a "message" for Alex, or that B) TTA snuck into Alex's house and scribbled on his wall for sh*ts and giggles. Personally, I prefer the theory that Alex is TTA. If that were the case, a "change" in TTAs (Tim used to be TTA, but now Alex is) might explain the change in video style.

... Of course, that's MAJOR thinking ahead, and I might be completely wrong. XD But it was such a fun idea to play with, and wouldn't it be awesome if it ended up being the case? Very Happy I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Also, if anyone's interested, I've taken some frame-by-frame screen shots of Alex's drawings at 720px. I'll try to get them up on a photobucket account where I can post misc marble hornets stuff a bit later. When they're up, I'll post again, or update this one, if there isn't too much more activity. I've done a few things like it in the past, so I might as well share!

Bone 8/10 being the date for a future video is an interesting theory, but someone mentioned earlier that chronologically this entry would have taken place in 2010, so the idea that Alex could predict a video that far in advance is a bit far fetched.

I'd love to see some shots of the drawings if you can get them up. Very Happy

Maybe it's an address, maybe it's some sort of CODE! Do these numbers and the slash fit into base64 or whatever you guys do your decoding!?

8/10 is too short to be a meaningful base64 string. If it is anything, I think it's a date.

Because he's gotten up close and personal with it multiple times when he knows it's a totally dangerous thing, and he's also shown complete lack of trust in Jay and refuses to ever elaborate on what he wants from him.

It's strange how slowly the figure walks, but I firmly believe it's Alex because he winds up in the room down the hall and surprises Jay... not to mention that we don't see The Operator in there until after Jay's looked at Alex's direction.  		Hey, has anyone been able to catch what Alex says before he says "You led it right here!" It sort of sounds like "turn off the mike" but I'm not sure.

 		I went through frame-by-frame to try to get a clear shot of the paper, but the pan is too fast to actually have any clear frames. Every frame has a slight "doubled" appearance to it caused by the interlacing. If only these were shot in 1080p, eh?

Actually that's an interesting point. Given that this video takes place during the seven month hiatus (2010) then perhaps this refers to a date IN 2010. Something may have happened on August 8th THAT year.

Can anyone place the actual months in which these entries take place? I know for some of them we get "a week after X happened" but we don't get any actual dates--has anyone been able to piece any dates together from this?

No, but I do recall seeing Christmas lights strung up around the outside of Amy and Jessica's place. Does anyone know what Christmas-time/December looks like in Alabama?

No, but I do recall seeing Christmas lights strung up around the outside of Amy and Jessica's place. Does anyone know what Christmas-time/December looks like in Alabama?


No idea, but would the MH guys have gone through the trouble of putting up Christmas lights in July, just to indicate it was around Christmas? If they wanted us to know it was Christmas during the entry I would've thought Jay would just say so.

 		So, based on the current theories of Slendy's teleportation skills (which seem somewhat sensible given the video evidence we have been provided with), this theory I'm about to pose to you all isn't so likely. But I've had fun entertaining it so I'm going to throw it out there anyway (and hope that my newness to the forum doesn't mean that this idea has already been beaten to death (with interesting shaped Masky rocks). Ok. Here goes:

What if there are actually multiple slendermen? What if Slendy wasn't a single entity, but a breed of entity? In 46, when Slenderman is outside, what if another Slenderman popped up in the bedroom, and outside Slenderman was creeping on the situation to alert bedroom Slenderman to spring into action? Maybe some Slendermen are malicious and others are just curious/follow live people around. For example, in the entry with Alex & Slendy in the playground. Maybe Slendy was just having a grand old time on the swingset when Alex came upon him (if I remember correctly, the swings were moving). Then Slendy got scared and started popping around. Considering that Slendy sickness occurs in some entries but not all, it makes me wonder what motivates Slendy to exert sickness symptoms &/or control when he does. Multiple slendies, who have different motivations, might "better" explain these personality shifts.

Maybe some Slendies are trying to take control over humans to get get back some sort of livelihood back, from beyond the dead, where other Slendies just want know what they look like on film. So, seeing film students, these "friendlies" get all up in the camera scenes to document themselves/their existences.

Also, if the book on Alex's desk does have any importance or relevance, it seems that it also might be important that there are multiple seemingly faceless suit-wearing individuals across the book cover.

Edit: is it just me or is Slendy wearing different ties these days? Did he always wear red?
