Possibly, I was thinking it'd be a pre-recorded message that would play, but that's an interesting thought as well.

Hell, I would have Noah send that thing my way and I'd plug it into my laptop. I'm dying to know what's in there.

If Noah were afraid of plugging the USB into his computer, he could always run a Linux LiveCD that loads from RAM and doesn't mount the harddrive and plug the USB in there. But what fun would that be?

A man out standing in his field. Looks too old and sturdy to be either Noah or Milo. Maybe it's from when Milo helped his dad build a barn in Alabama? Can't think of anything else. I'll ask Noah on Formspring if he recognizes it.

Its Edward standing there with a jumble of lines over his face. Just like in the "COMECLOSER" video, where the guy walks into Noah's house with the jumbly thing over his face. It looks like an overweight guy.

i liked how much of that went way over my head. seemed like edward knew what he was talking about. i hope that was real stuff and not made up, because that was pretty cool.

observer at 1:18 is an awesome catch. would have never seen that.

and yeah, sounds like he should just cut the wires and see if it plays anything. though it'd probably just end with noah half crying while throwing the device across the room.

Well, judging from my knowledge of electronics, most of what Ed said checks out. The only odd thing was him saying that the tiny solar panel charges the 9Volt through a TRS connector headphone jack. The idea seems a little far fetched...but then again, we're dealing with the Observer here. I wouldn't question it. It looks like Adam did his homework on making this device! Kudos to TT for raising the bar yet again! Very Happy

It's a bit blurry, but the head I outlined moves out of view pretty much the second the camera adjusts, so this was the best I could do.

Yes, I see it now too.

Interesting that Ed doesn't see it at all, given that he's surely looking in the right direction. Or at least, Ed doesn't acknowledge seeing it. Not impossible that Ed is an Observer minion... and in fact, it'd sort of make sense if he were the very minion that built the device for the Observer collective. "Oh, yeah, this device was clearly made by a genius. A sexy, wonderful genius."

Maybe that's why Oppy's so mad.

His device is actually worth more than 20 dollaz. WE WERE SO WRONG.

Am I the onyl one who thinks that the Observer might be edward ? I mean, "I just want to shake his hand"
That line is kinda weird
Plus, We know that Ed is a tech, so he could possibly have made the device.

Given what Edward knows, him being impressed by the tech isn't a knock against him. It was just something Noah bought at a yard sale right? or so he is told.

I don't know how comfortable I am with Edward being the observer... it just doesn't fit... I would expect the observer to wear glasses at least.
