Got mine today! Although my code looks plain -_- I got Prism (Which is pretty delicious!)
just because it looks plain doesn't mean it is (unless it just a square) go ahead and scan it in or take a pic
Yeah, just a square.

Still haven't got my badge. My real pic has been up there for a week now.

Same here, & I was one of the ones who signed up fairly early. Perhaps the badges won't be sent out to everyone?

Man, I leave the forum/game untended for a week and a half while I'm out of town and I come home to this! A badge? Now I'm super super SUPER excited.
I checked my profile and it still shows the photo of myself that I uploaded (it's just me and my flute, very clearly showing my face). I haven't gotten any sort of emailed notification that I've broken any rules, but I also haven't reuploaded a photo recently or anything.
Is there anything I am missing that I need to do, or should I just sit tight and cross my fingers that I'll get an ID badge? (I checked the forums and the wiki to see if I missed anything, but feel free to trout me if I am being oblivious.)

I can now confirm (along with another FB user) that they are sending out Cobalt as well as Prism and Swerve. And I was all excited to try Swerve! Double bummer!
Oh well. Hopefully there will be an offline event - that I can actually attend - where we will get to use our badges. If not...swag is still awesome.
Sadly I also got a no new QR piece and just got some Cobalt =( I really wanted some swerve...but hey at least we're actually starting to get some swag. Now where are those darn Icefly T-shirts!

I was wearing a fencing mask in my first picture, so I went to the link and re-took my picture.
But get this...my face. My real face, nothing at all is being violated. All the requirements are met. I even took the picture via webcam. And I get the email that says it is rejected.
I emailed them...but that really hurts. I'm so ugly that I'm offensive.

Calm down. It seems quite automated. You've sent them an email, let them respond - they'll either explain what the issue is, or realize there's a problem and fix it.

With all the strictness about the photo ID bit, I am fairly sure they are gearing up so that we may use them for something IRL. I mean why not just let us submit any image if theyre only for swag purposes?
I'm also of the opinion that the LED helicopters were sent out to make sure that the addresses were correct, in addition to being advertising.

because they could get sued for printing copyrighted material as part of their promotional items.

People have been rejected for far sillier things such as having more than one person in the photo or not having their face clearly visible though.

<Implying that is actually sillier than copyright law?
Hahahahahaha!!!!!!! Oh, you kill me.
But yeah, I definitely see there being a reason to this.

Yay my resubmit got accepted (that was fast, less than 24 hours)

Well my badge photo was rejected. I put a random shot from a recent trip thinking they wouldn't care, but apparently they want a pic of a person, and only one person in the photo. Hopefully I am not too late to still get a badge!
btw when I resubmitted I double checked the requirements. So apparently it has to be a face shot, it has to be a recent photo (though I figure they would probably not be able to tell too easily), and it has to be a certain px x px (320? 328? something like that)
If it's not any of that it may get rejected I guess :/

Also I think it might have to fit that square rectangular box that they have after you submit your photo and preview because it looks like all badges that have been printed are the size of that box.
