 		To go back to the water idea, if you take a look at (shameless self promotion) this thread you will see my thoughts on the subject as well as evidence that water is at least a deterrent. maybe slendy-away is just a spray can full of water?

as far as DEFEATING him goes, I don't think its possible, at least not in a violent manner and even if it were I agree it would be totally out of place in MH. I fully subscribe to the school of the ark being a means of escaping 0 (can we just start calling the operator 0? since that's the operator key and probably why TTA is so obsessed with the number) So what this discussion should really come down to is what is the ark? I'm assuming there's a thread on this already, but imagine it is a place, perhaps like an island, that is very isolated and barren.

Also, I don't think simply ignoring him would make him go away indefinatley, alex wasn't involved at all in Jay's meddling, but he still got dragged into it. I think once you're involved, there is no escape because somehow you will be brougth back into it either by a 3rd party or by your own subconcious.

What about the Big O? I kind of like that one, because it makes me nostalgic for those really ridiculous "The Missing Piece" books when I was in like first grade. I miss Shel Silverstein.
