Perhaps you need to "play the game" a little more? I'm not sure what you mean by emailing the church "outside the conversation", but stay in character as it were - don't talk to them out of game. Work hard on solving the puzzles or at least contributing to the tasks with all of us.

Earning your pillars is the easiest part - if you read the early parts of the thread, you will see exactly how to do it. After that, you can start helping the rest of us.

 		Will's had no contact with Ore lately, so he's going to Old Smokey again tonight. I sent them an email, but haven't gotten back a reply yet.

Noobie
Hey guys. I'm a noobie when it comes to ARGs besides Slenderman Mythos, but I wanted to find an ARG that hasn't already been going on for months or years, and I realize I am late for this one too, but I just read all of Will's blog entries and have sent an email to the church requesting to join. I've also read a few pages out of this forum to see what's going on with it.

Mainly, just wanted to make a post to let you all know you have another noobie that hopefully will be able to succeed at this even though I'm a latecomer and also just to introduce myself. Smile

Hey, welcome! We're a pretty friendly and tight-knit group here, so I am sure you can find a place with us if you catch up. I would recommend reading ALL of the posts here, however - I know it is a hassle, but then you will be totally up to speed on what's happened, and it is generally considered a courtesy to read everything before starting.

We also have a wiki where we have compiled all of the information so far - hard info only, no speculation, for reference. The link is on this thread a couple of times, several pages back. Good luck with your pillars!

 		Would anyone be interested in having a website for both facts and speculation? It might be a little faster for newcomers to catch up that way. I can see about putting one up, maybe even have people forward me all their emails from Will and Glass Heaven so that we can all see everything that's been found so far. Thoughts?

 		Yeah, looks like they've got a good bit more, though. I get the feeling that it'll take some time before the translating is all done. There seem to be a lot of unanswered questions, too.

After I got my pillars, I asked a few questions, then waited a day before I emailed them again. That was yesterday afternoon and I've gotten no response as of yet. Looks like Will hasn't heard anything from Ore either.

 		He hasn't. And if he goes to Old Smokey and falls asleep again, it might be a while before we get another update. Do you suppose it's Mora's time now? Kinda wish I lived closer.

 		EST, but last time he did "fall asleep". The video looked like it was shot in the daylight, and he woke up at night.

 		Right, but the time difference helps. Based on his twitter feed, he's heading to Old Smokey now. Even if he falls asleep, it's nearly 6pm there, so we should still get an update tomorrow. At least, we can only hope Smile
