This is interesting, considering they just had a Halo 2 article in their october issue. It had no mention of ILB though.

Yes, I specifically asked if I could record the conversation, so no worries there.

That is pretty cool weephun. At this point, I don't think there is anyone who has experienced this game in as many angles as you have.
And all from one random phone call and being led (very adeptly) into giving away the Sleeping Princess. Who'da thought, huh?

when it comes out, it will be the first time I've picked up a Wired since they kept on slamming our games years ago because they seem allergic to 2D fighter games. Ah well, tis fun being in the cutting edge of things, at least for a second. The rest of the time at work, I am surrounded by retro enough to make any retro gamers drool in biblical proprtions....

He's with wired.com. Don't think it'll be in the magazine.
Did anybody else hear from him?

Yes, I did. Judging from his questions, I think he interviewed me first. He said he had more interviews later in the day.

Yes, Tarrsk , exactly!! That's me.
AngriBuddhist , I will change it ... to a very purty one ... later.
3 red balloons would be kind of cramped...and they'd probably have to be deflated balloons.

looks like the article is out now:
http://www.wired.com/news/culture/0,1284,65365,00.html
I'm still reading it, looks like he's got a couple things wrong (mentioned Melissa instead of the SP for example), but overall good. No mention of viral marketing yet! w00t!

I talked to that guy for about a half hour, and I got nothin'. Ah well.
Perhaps I need to stir up some drama!
He said he was interested in doing a further story on ARGs, though, so who knows?
