Ok, I don't know if this was brought up elsewhere but why are there four empty columns at the end of the grid?
The most space between the other "characters" (if we look at the shapes as kinda letters) is two spaces. So why the four empty columns at the end? Why not just make the grid 5x38? Or even 5x40, cos 40 is a nice round number.
Just grasping at straws...

Could these blocks represent binary code? like as how someone suggested the Arecibo Message the first part was binary numbers 1 through 10 in the Arecibo Message. perhaps This too is a binary message?

Here's a shot in the dark does this have anything to do with the "constellations" perhaps the colors represent the colors of the gum that corresponds with the constellation.

Okay, cool. Thanks for the image, and for allowing me to get back to work haha.
Any which way we look this is a hard one to make sense of.

We thought that with the semaphore puzzle at first but the colors were just a way to tie those pairs of numbers together so it makes sense that color might tie these together too.

Um Hi. I've been lurking for awhile... new to the site.
Did anyone take into account that A14, E11, C10, C15, D12, E15, B12, D15, A11, E19, B15, and C19 are not aligned like the others? They are off center. I tried plotting just those points, but it didn't make much sense.

I tried American Morse Instead of International, with no better results.

I tried using just the letters of the coordinates that didn't have to be moved to "align" the blocks. It got a bit confusing with ones where there were two possible columns for them to be aligned as well as with that strange 6-coordinate set. I did the same using just the ones that did move. Either way I got too large an amount of letters to seem usable in any way.

There is one per gum.

A few more details I'm noticing
There are 8 colors
There are 5 of each except dark green which has 6
Each only seesm to have 1ABCDE (Except dark green which has an extra A)
Each color appears to be grouped in a similar area on the grid.
