Actually, no, that doesn't relate to this thread at all.

On topic: Pretty sure that the tearing=teleportation theory is consistent. In #1, if I remember correctly, we never see Slendy move. He's just on the porch. This is exactly the wrong time of night to rewatch those entries, but it's certainly plausible he teleported onto the porch, freaked Alex out, and teleported away if that fits the video. I don't think there are any other instances that would make this theory less viable.

The really interesting implication to me is that Masky and the Operator use the same method of teleportation. This would seem to imply that Tim has direct ties to the Slender Man, but we never (again, correct me if this is wrong; I haven't watched the series straight through in a few weeks) see the fuzz-type distortion around him.

Hmm... Looks like #44 sort of blows the teleportation theory. I didn't see any visual rips at all, and there was clearly quite a bit of teleportation there.

However, there was constant "fuzz" distortion, both visually and audibly, around Alex, which I think maintains the theory that it appears around people influenced by the Operator.

Technically when the Operator left, the way that the screen rolled up, thats technically visual tear. But that was only as he left, not as he arrives.

If that new "meltdown" distortion is when Slendy is exuding control over someone, then what about the Return video? It looked like Jay was in a trance

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
granted that was because Slendy loves him and was all Jay's fault

but Slendy walked right up to the camera with no issue. I was thinking it was a proximity thing until I rewatched that response.

His modus operandi / goal is to control nine people and-

I didn't think that far, honestly.

But,
During the filming of Marble Hornets,
he for some reason sets his eyes face on the crew.

With the now (even) more possible idea of ToTheArk being multiple people,
and Jay's tweet on how each video seems different in style, or tone.
mainly my idea is that ToTheArk is the Church of Slender Man (of Latter-Day-Saints)

butwhowasfone?

Oh crap, I'm Mormon...looks like my split personality is TTA.

Oh crap, so am I O_O

but no i still think that TTA is AGAINST the operator.... just the way that they are trying to hurt alex who SEEMS to be working with the operator
