Alabama. Not that the two are all that far away from each other.

EDIT EDIT: It does look like there's a fifth number on that second picture in the original version of it, on Slendy's lower torso below the '37 20'. It looks like another 31, but I'm not sure since it's so faint. That would make the shorter set '39 20 37 20 31'. If so, it hex translates to 9 7 1, if that's worth anything.

Well if we go alphanumeric "1 15 11" is A O K; "9 7 1" is I G A

Which only makes sense if he's leaving messages about liking a particular North Eastern supermarket chain.

I haven't replied to his email yet, by the way. I feel like I should; anything in particular that needs asking at this point? Otherwise I'll just go the 'are you all right, Jack? What's with the numbers? What's your favorite supermarket?' route.

Wish, this just got incredibly interesting. I'll spend a lot of time this weekend helping.

I'm Kari, the one who sent him the weeping willow picture. I didn't get an email, maybe because I'm using GMX?
Or maybe it's just delayed for whatever reasons.

Assuming that the numbers from the pictures are supposed to be converted from HEX into numbers, and the numbers into letters (Which is several assumptions)...

It occurred to me this morning (literally as I woke up), that AOK is an anagram for OAK.

This doesn't explain IGA, which doesn't mean anything tree related no matter how I arrange the letters.

I'm wondering if we're missing cyphered numbers in the pictures or if the typos in the post would influence this. This is getting to be a rough one.

Ex-lurker, new poster - here are my two cents.

From the 1 15 11 numbers, all I could find about Jan 15 is that it's "tree planting day" in Egypt. Probably irrelevant!

In terms of the numbers (AOK, IGA) I googled "aokiga" and found this stuff about the "Aokigahara Suicide Forest", and some rumours about dead men's souls gathering there. Creepy.

Couldn't get the numbers to make any more sense though.

Hmm... the Suicide Forest is too creepy to be a coincidence. Maybe the number is an equation of sorts?

I'll take a picture of the Weeping Willows near my house, they're beautiful late at night.

According to the video children are told to stay away from that forest, that it's a scary forest.

Edit: We also have a creepy doll nailed upside down to a tree, rumors of a mysterious Buddhist monk living in the forest, and the narrator of the video talking about how we need to see each others faces. Almost no chance leading here was a coincidence.

I've read about that forest before. Apparently it's ridiculously thick so even at noontime it's not hard to find places nearly completely shrouded in darkness. It's also not hard to find fresh newly-hung bodies by walking through some easily accessible parts of it.
The Japanese government, if I recall correctly, has signs all over near the entrance saying things like "Think about your friends and family!"

I had replied to the last email with "What 12-year-old writes in Base 64 for fun? What do you want from us?" with no reply, until now.

Jack wrote:
i just want pictures of trees haha. i think it was a weird email glitch because someone else said they got a message too but i didnt send any.

keep sending tree pictures and i have a new post soon

bye - jack

A "weird email glitch." This is one dumb 12 year old. Now I'm guessing it's some sort of hacker-proxy character, or the kid himself under Slender influence.

Oh. I forgot an important detail. The subject of the original message was just a 1. That might help with the 'read the numbers' thing.

I replied to his email again, asking if drawings of trees are okay too, or if he just wants photographs.

Follow me on Twitter if you don't already - @Neoplayer2.

EDIT Got a reply.
Me and Jack wrote:
Me: Do you like drawings of trees, or just photographs?
Jack: No only photographs drawings dont help me

This is a weird as heck kid. I'm gonna ask him what he means by 'help me.'

Yeah, I'm Hanna who took a photography class. Nothing here, either.

New entry, more typographical oddness in the post.
Also, Dex gotten some direct Slendy attention, it sounds like.

wait a second. hidden URL?

I.IMGUR.CO.M/Na29R.JPG

EDIT: I'm presuming this is i.imgur.com/N29R.jpg (removing the typo lowercase a in "raindraops" since it just might be a typo) But there's no image at that URL.

My picture was featured, The Gympie Gympie tree, also known as the stinging tree. The thing is, I explained the tree to him. It's name, it's origin, it's quirk that makes it unique from other trees

And it looks like i might be right about that mean picture containing our large friend.

I never got an email back, though, so nothing I can really supply other than that.

I'm actually pulling for this kid, which is strange because i never do that in horrible situations.

Him blaming an email glitch might be my fault, actually...I sent this reply to the codes email last night:

Quote:
Hey Jack,

I got your message, are you all right? Looks like everything got converted to codes. Who are you talking about, not being who you think he is? Is this something to do with that moving tree you keep seeing?

Sorry for all the questions, just a bit worried about you. Hoping it's nothing but some weird email glitch.

Take care,
Izzy

Got that same reply back as Neoplayer:

Quote:

bye - jack

Also, my tree was featured. It was the skinny one with the city behind it. Gonna have to look up the Gympie Gympie tree; never heard of it before and you've got me curious now.

Wondering if I should email again, see if the 'moving tree' is still hanging around. Have another tree picture I could send along with it, I think. :/

The Gympie Gympie also goes by the name of The Stinging Tree, it sheds little hairs containing neurotoxin, causing great pain in only humans, some dogs, and horses.
