 		Wait, what book is this? I completely missed that. Also the whole Ark think always strikes me as more Marble Hornets than EMH. But there is that leaked video, so who knows.

 		Wheee! Finally made it through all of the videos, Twitters, etc. plus reading about 250 pages of this thread in two days. I might be somewhat obsessed. Wink I choose to blame that on Evan since he was the character that kept me watching through the initial obviously fake Slendy sighting videos that kind of bored me.

I noticed a few references to Jessie's YouTube channel in this thread, but I don't remember if it was mentioned whether it was OOG or not. I didn't see anything about it on the Wiki, so are there any important videos on it?

Also Jeff's "13 year old myspace girl" video (aka "GUILTYGUILTYGUILTYGUILTY") has some audio distortion that turns "I will follow you into the dark" into, well, take a guess.

 		ATLVAC*, it's probably safe to assume that the "ARK"= the Candleverse.


What that means in regards to the the myspace video and Jessa, who knows. Probably depends on whose voice the song is supposed to be representing(Jeff or the phantom editor/HABIT?)

 		I'm starting to see a pattern within Evan.


He has been the first one to show real aggression towards the creature, Going as far as charging him on two occasions(Each one ending in blood, but technically the first one was "blood in bags",rather than blood by the bagful.), and just being aggressive in his personality and nature.

Maybe HABIT chose Evan because he showed animosity to Mr. Slim first.

Yeah, but those are all still kinda subtle, even after the introduction of Candleverse, unlike Marble Hornets which kind of beat you over the head with the Ark in season one.

Also by think I meant thing.

For some reason I thought the questionably canonical Welcome to the Ark video was set in Evan's basement. At least it looked like some kind of basement to me and nothing like the weird little ruined building that the candlelit meeting was held in. If the video is canon or semi-canon, I don't think Candle Cove is the ARK unless ARK refers to the entire bizarre time-frozen universe they were trapped in.

And that paragraph reminds me of some of the discussions my friends and I had about Lost. Confused *tries to block out the bad memories*

My opinion of the OOG videos is that Jeff and Co. anticipated the fact that someone sooner or later would find their OOG accounts and planted videos to troll people with. If I were going to launch an ARG like this, I would definitely consider leaving fake videos around the place to mindscrew people with.

I think that's exactly the case. The Ark/Candleverse is a whole universe. However... It's my opinion that "Welcome To The Ark" is sort of proto-canon. An early draft or a proof of concept video. So the concept of the Ark has survived but the details may have changed as the story morphed and flexed over time.

Someone mentioned Stephanie Tolan's book Welcome to the Ark a while back on this thread, but there wasn't any significant discussion. It just piqued my interest so I thought I'd check it out. So far EMH is the only ARG I'm caught up on, but I'm working on Marble Hornets! *is late to the game*
