"I scream before normalcy where the water waxes and wanes"

Water waxes and wanes due to the moon, or whatever. Coyotes howl or bark or scream at moons. People who go to bars due so to escape something, perhaps normality. I didn't think it was that much of a stretch...

Haha, sorry I thought you were referring to some other phrase. But yeah, that makes sense.

I was originally thinking of the moon due to the waxes and wanes statement. I was thinking more along the lines of a beach, but nothing to go off of to point to which beach at all. I think your guess is much closer.

I thought the original Coyote Ugly was in New York? According to both Wikipedia (which isn't always correct, but eh) and Lil's story on the coyote Ugly website it is. Plus, the movie took place there.

To my just awake eyes he's making a cryptic water reference with look into....well. If "I Scream Before Normalcy"=ISBN (for The House of Leaves clue) maybe the other words, "where the water waxes and wanes", signify something like a Geyser one could look into? Heading to the pool myself now. Smile

He seems to think we're barking up the wrong tree:
Quote:
It is not my clue, but rather is the Jester's. I am only privy to certain information.

As for other clues, well, I'm no good at them. The ones I do are either too subtle or not subtle enough. Take, for example, this riddle: what lives without a body, hears without ears, and speaks without a mouth?

Answer:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
An echo

Okay, so I thought there was something to the statement by the Vagabond about "look for moore clues in every echo, every shadow." Something about it didn't seem to sit right with me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Now he's made another post that's a riddle that definitely points to echo. And on his blog...

Anonymous asked: Is the name Moore important? How does it relate to the clue from the House of Leaves?

Perhaps you should look into it yourself. Perhaps there are other words you should look into as well.

So there's something to this echo statement. I'm not sure what yet, but it's definite that's what he's pushing us toward.

There's Echo Beach in Ontario? And a Christopher Moore that writes Canadian history books. I don't know. I'm googling my heart out and feel like I'm grasping at straws.

Grace's blog. Dottoe just posted it here above my last post. The question about Moore was on his blog.

Echo riddle is on Grace's blog. You got it ^^

There's a Christopher Moore who writes funny scary stories too. Water waxes and wanes... possibly the moon, possible high/low tide. I doubt there are many pine forests in Vegas, so she's probably going to have to leave soon enough anyway. Grand Canyon? Has the Colorado river been having issues?

Oh, alright. I thought Jester had his own blog I didn't know about.
