You seem to have forgotten to check the T?? folder again.
It has a new first page, with the old files being on page 2.

The new page has audio logs like before, except these play on the Worldview desktop, no downloading, and aren't screwed up. There are also a few strange, short text files mixed in with them. The second to last file is both confusing and highly disturbing.

Also, did anyone else notice the smaller notepad icon that leads to a blank notepad that you can type in? It's title is "OUTPUT_TRACE(CONVRTR);" and it clears out when you close it. It opens with the text cursor on the second line.

Oh, and the sr_ folder is from last episode, right?

The little file records your passwords for you when you solve the files.

Sorry I would have sniffed around more if I could reconnect but i'm not getting back in by the looks of it. So don't leave the site until you feel you've done everything!

Edit: On firefox it's reporting it can't find a file so it leaves it black.
On internet explorer I just get kicked to a connection error screen. So I've emailed Vidal and hopefully they fix that up so I could sniff around more.

So yeah until they upload that file i'm kinda stuck.

Edit: I'll attach the files I got to this post.

Well whatever I did too the site I did it beyond anything I can do. I can't access it on any computer. It just never loads right for the desktop......I'm at a loss.

Can anyone else confirm it's not working for them when they try to re-enter?

Actually there's a new link at the top of the interdimensionalgames page that leads to idgi1.net

So that would be me, lol.

Um, does anybody have a list of the Latitudes and longitudes?

I'm kind of scared to try this because of all the trouble I had with the virus game.

@wowo: Give me awhile and I'll grab them from my emails to Vidal.
Yeah I noticed the link on top when I got the connection error screen and I pressed abort.

I'll attach the remaining files on this post.

It also seems I can't access the file on any other computer which leads me to believe it's not just a problem with my computer.....hopefully.

It will count all the coords you got from the device itself. You will need to just input the rest in the fields. Then a date will appear in the bottom left corner.

@Cherrytree, I had the "black screen" problem too on my first try (flash crashed on me while the movie played)
I just restored the flash cookie to a state where I hadnt accessed the new site yet and it worked again.
After that I've tried exiting the Worldview desktop properly and reconnecting.
This worked on multiple tries, so I guess it's just your flash cookie that has been broken due to flash crashing or something. As far as i remember you did multiple playthroughs so you shouldnt have trouble finding one that works Wink

The puzzles in the O_O file were different for me but I solved them and got most of the stuff we already had seen in episode 1.
And the morse files that appeared on the desktop afterwards.
I took the time to translate them :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Morse 1:
-.. .. .-. . -.-. - --- .-. .. . ... .- -. -.. .- -.-. -.-. . ... ...
DIRECTORIESANDACCESS
Morse 2:

FINDTHEIPLOCATED
Morse 3:

EIPADDRESSERINSTRUCTIONS
Morse 4:
.-- .. - .... .. -. - .... . .. -.. --. .. -....- .---- -.-. --- -. - .- .. -. . .-.
WITHINTHEIDGI1CONTAINER

I also downloaded the whole IDGI-Dump folder again but i dont have time to go through it right now.

Thanks for listing those latitude/longitude codes..

However, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be using them... Is there a way to tell if they are entered in correctly?

I am attaching 3 screen shots -- in two of them you can tell where I'm supposed to enter in the lat/log information, plus there is one of those alphabetic 1-21 codes to tell me which one, I guess.

However, I only have 7 of those -- after I do "next" for the seventh, I get the third screenshot, which is a "no-go" symbol.

So I'm not sure what to do.

EDIT: Okay so I re-downloaded that alphabet translator thingie and figured out that the new coordinates were wanting me to start on #14 (I guess I had done 13 of the virus puzzles). So when I entered #14 lat/long from the list (thanks again) this time it said "SUCCESS" so I took that as a good sign lol

This went fine until #20 -- at that point I entered in the lat/long and instead of 'SUCCESS' it kicked me back out and now when I go back in again, it is as if I have NONE of the coordinates -- they are all blank! I don't understand what's happening.

I don't think that's the problem. I'm attach a little screenshot.

I would agree it's the flash cookie if it wasn't the site won't load on ANY computer in the house. I've tried this one my mom's laptop. I guess I can try our old main computer but nothing seems to want to load the desktop. It's not that it's crashing during the movie.

I'll keep fiddling with it so hopefully I can get it fixed soon.

@wowo: Look at the main screen before you click on the satellite if you've inputted all that lat and long right then you'll see a date in the corner of the screen. That means you've gained access to the desktop. Just click it.

Thank you that was helpful.. I don't know I was supposed to know to click on the date, but then it took me to the swirly graphics and music again where everything collapses and then we are back on the Worldview Desktop.

I saw the message from Henry and Milestone 3, but when I clicked 'continue' everything went black and now I can't do anything again.

Anybody else get the feeling this is betaidgi?

@wowo: That's exactly what's happening to me. If I use an old state file then it get's me to that message then loading screen then nada

If I try it on most recent (Just refer to the screenshot above) It says it's not on the server.

As i'm going through a whole new one i'm noticing a TON of updates on the old file.

1. Symbols at the beginning now are color coded and the boxes have residual markings to help you place symbols. There's also a fail package sent when you get it wrong. Packages sent and how much time you take.

2. The files we see on the new one is available on the old one. I just got the comatose one (the exact same thing.

3. They've shortened the countdown to a minute XD Thank goodness.

Seems the PM's noticed what happened either by email or the thread. I got a different opening this time. Not "opening last connection and got the satellite views.

THANK YOU PM's!

Ok, this was a question posed by a friend and I think it's a very relevant one:
Now that the satellite is aligned to this previous point in time, before we even met Alvarez, Malcolm or Greenberg, what point in time is the forum connected to? Are we never going to hear back from Alvarez?
If this is the case, what do you think would happen if we tried making new threads on each of their categories?
Also, if this is the case, what will happen when/if they eventually all find the site in this new timeline and see all of these conversations that we've had with their past selves?

I'll also pose this question to Vidal.

EDIT: Updated with additional questions that I posed to Vidal.

hey guys! guess I'm a little late to the party but I'd been trying to connect for a while (same problem as cherrytree with the black screen) until it started working like 15 min ago. And I got in!

one thing I do want to say, to fill in something Cherrytree talked about. With regards to the first little game that plays out when you enter the password into the "foundme" icon.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
using 'accessspikek1" i got into the game where it asks you a trivia question and there are messages from Henry (im assuming) telling you not to answer the question and whatnot. I got the notion that I was deciding which side I wanted to follow soooooooo I answered the question because it was the church side. It's simple enough to google the answer aaaand after I entered it my desktop went all crazy with a big "opening accesses" across the screen and then a simple "thankyou" message

And then I THINK I got a message from the Church on the desktop where cherrytree said he got a message from Henry. The message said something like Henry doesn't know what you've just done, but thankyou because youve given us better access to henry" or something like that.

Also the whole desktop is whacky looking there's text scrolling across the left side of the screen and my cursor says it's recording. trippy trippy stuff man.

I just wanted to share that and noooow i'm gonna go back to it!

So how do you solve these morse code answers? In the screenshot below, I'm assuming this is "1 1" but it all goes by so fast..

@wowo: I never did those because they were too fast. If you don't have text based riddles just exit and enter back in and they'll change.

@sublimetime: Thank you! I wanted to know if it was possible to get past the trivia or not. I was hoping someone might do what the church wants. Can you grab a screenshot to show what you're talking about?

@Minz:
Hey, in regards to the Morse, does it perhaps refer to that IP address you guys pieced together out of multiple images toward the very end of episode 1 that didn't have any messages?

Does anyone remember what it was, or do we need to go hunting through this ultra-long forum thread looking for it?

Because Minz's post, above, mentioned IPADDRESSER in the morse code audio files that appear on the desktop now (after closing back out of the download puzzles), I went back to our old friend www.ipaddresser.com and scrolling back a bit I found this:

EDIT: @duke9509:

The IP address image you are talking about is here:

and yes, it matches the IP address that is being used on the IPAddresser website:

EDIT2: the Internet icon of the mimicked desktop just seems to go back to Kevin Chard's old diary or whatever
