Shouldn't that be:

Yeah, and I say lion's skin is correct, too, as well as crown instead of head. Leaving us with...

More Darwin words:

"On the way, stayed at Socego the estate of Senor M Figuireda

"Mauritius has prospered under British Rule, but the neighbouring Isle of Bourbon

"the beagle anchored in Berkeley Sound, in East Falkland Island"

"The commodore at Lima ordered CaptainFitz Roy to inqruire with the queen"

Where are the fireflies? It'd be awesome if we had a full list of all the clues together on the fireflies wiki. *ahem*

I think the Herakles clue should just be skin. Everyone is wearing one. Also theres a real body part theme going on.

Orion is different from Herakles.

The end of the "belt" that Orion's sword hangs from is the Large Orion Nebula (M42)

On the stamps-

Some of the stamps are not cancelled. Put the person depicted on those in order to spell something out?

The Darwin puzzle solve is:

http://www.ilovebees.com/outbound/duck_pond.wav

EDIT - Here is the solve:

Just like the instructions in BUT_FUN.gif say, take the obscured words and put them in chronological order:

Devonport (first)
cuttle-fish (second)
Socęgo (april 13 1832)
Falkland (may 5 1834)
Galapagos (october 8 1835)
Fitz Roy (november 22, 1835)
Bourbon (may 1 1836)
Longwood (may 9 1836)
