I want to say that they talked about that in the Radio Interview. I'm sure I've heard it somewhere, and that's one of the few things I've listened to or read by the guys as the creators.

This may be me being mad, but I always read this video with a hint of sarcasam.

Sort of like TTA has been here before and is looking at all of these newbies running around, failing and missing things that are (to him) obvious and is asking (much like English football fans) "Who are you" in such a way it means "Who are you to think you can do anything about this?"

Doubtful. TTA has made several advances to get Jay TO do something, and expressing annoyance at the fact that he ISN'T doing anything.

I'm starting to think the TTA videos are becoming, if they weren't already, the best part of this series. They're so surreal, and this one takes the cake.

I read all the way through the thread, and I loved the theories and discussion I saw. Especially, and I'm sorry I can't remember your user name on here, the theory that the description in the video is a hint at the Operator Symbol. It's so simple, but I love how perfect it is.

If I may, I am firmly entrenched in the belief that those faces are people we know. Tim, Alex, and Brian seem to be the ones I see. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to believe that the colors could have been messed with to screw with us even more on who they are.

As far as the video itself goes? I like the idea of him running this by the others, and possibly himself, while telling Jay to keep doing what he's doing. "You are you. (Jay) BUT WHO ARE YOU? (Brian, Alex, Tim)"

So glad I stumbled upon this forum. Entertaining reads here to say the least.

Okay, regarding the maɪnəs sɛntrɔɪd message, here are my theories...

maɪnəs (possibly MAIN?)
sɛntrɔɪd (Either PICTURES or SENTRY)

So, it could mean:

MAIN PICTURE(S) - maybe meaning "look at the big picture"?

MAIN SENTRY - a sentry, or patrolman of some kind. The Operator, perhaps?

SENTRY PICTURES - "Stop showing pictures of the sentry." Or alternatively, "Do not try to picture the sentry (in your mind)."

PICTURE SENTRY? - I don't know, but the Operator seems to enjoy being in pictures...

PICTURE ENTRY or ENTRY PICTURES - Maybe regarding the entries, possibly a warning to stop posting them or to be careful.

They figured out what it meant (it wasn't any of those), but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. It had to do with circles and centers.

The centroid symbol refers to the Operator, most agree. I'm sure others have said this, but I think the theory is that TTA is asking who you are when are not influenced by the Operator. Like, who are who minus centroid?

Basically, do you know who you really are anymore?

I'm glad this thread got bumped, I had completely forgot all of that.

I've never heard this one before, and I like it. Have a spacebrownie. Brownie

I go with the negative centroid theory...but I also tried out a bunch of anagrams through an anagram finder.

I found some interesting things...

-I sent our minds
-Remind Us To Sin
-No, It Reminds Us
-Mind To se Ruins

also saw phrases like "must die" and "in suit" haha.

I'm getting so addicted to this series, spent the past few days marathoning TTA vids since I didn't know about them when I started.

It's Minus Centroid. IPA, International Phonetic Language or some crap.

Now get the math majors, because this is definitely not my territory.

I am by no means an expert in mathematics, nor in the definitions of either of these words, but has anyone made a connection between the word "Centroid" and the operator symbol?

"the centre of mass of an object of uniform density, esp of a geometric figure"

"(of a finite set) the point whose coordinates are the mean values of the coordinates of the points of the set"

Perhaps the definition requires a bit of interpretation to get to this point, but it seemed relevant to me. A uniform geometric shape with even perpendicular lines (coordinates, longitude, latitude, etc...) that intersect at the shape's center (or mean).

This is the most plausible explanation of Minus Centroid, as found by KasperSG in this thread.

Oog
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
isn't it more likely that they just did it to represent his lack of a face? Unless one of them is a geometry nerd. But I remember they were both kind of slackers in school. Plus if it is a warning. It is reasonable that someone would draw that symbol.
