That or because my first (deleted) answer was just the translated puzzle, though they do look like about the same time.

(I gave him soap over clean clothes)

Driving - some connections?

Hey guys, im new to the ARG scene, and i really like this one so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. Here's what I got for the newest looking for derek post:

Ok, I know close to nothing about secret code and such, but here's what I got so far:
- there is a graphic novel called "The Tragical Comedy or Comical Tragedy of Mr. Punch. link to the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tragical_Comedy_or_Comical_Tragedy_of_Mr._Punch

- I was just trying out a bunch of random online cipherers and found that if you use the code "punch" in the vigenere autokey with the encoded message found in the comic book, the first two words are "The Lonq" but everything else is gibberish. idk, i just feel like most of these sorts of things, once ciphered, usually start with a "the". Sorry about not being much help but this was all I could get.

(Oh, and this is my first post on this blog as well so I may be completely screwing up the placement and/or proper usage of this post)

(One last thing, does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to cipher these things and when to use each different type of cypher? thanks!)

Ashe showed me this one a little while back. Hopefully it will help you as much as it helped me. http://www.unfiction.com/dev/tutorial/

Edit: I figured out what the code written in the margins was.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I used a Vignere cypher with the keyword of punch(Thanks for the idea, runninsavvy!) This was the result:

The Lord of Misrule must punish Pulcinella for showing the strings that pulled them all and thus condemning them with knowledge.

Your welcome! and thanks for the link, it really cleared some stuff up!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Oh, and im guessing that the lord of misfits is the jester, and i learned from a quick google search that pulcinella is some classical fictional character often referred to as "Punch" in english. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulcinella Just thought that was interesting, but I feel like we may not know the answer to this one until we see whats at the coordinates.

Did my welcome post not go through? Sad :( Welcome though!

I might have found our Ruggio, the implications are... interesting. Asked the Mummer's Farce about it, but haven't gotten a reply yet.

Cool work Dia Renalda & runninsavvy. Guess Derek will get some sort of 'dish washer'. There was wacky, circular Laughing logic in my choice & think we'll see soon enough.

Dottoe, by "Ruggio" do you mean "Ruggiero Magro"? (Page 5) Am really curious who that fellow's daughter might be.

No, no! Don't ever apologize for that. Really, you just helped us solve the latest clue. Besides, they're currently on the track of tricking us, and all around trying to deceive the pants off of us. (Hopefully not literally.)

Great team work runninsavvy and Dia.

savvy- that solve should have worked, except for maybe a typo?
Hint- always cut and paste when possible, cuts down on errors. If you can't, always check your work first, before you spend an hour or so on it and then realize you screwed it up from the get-go (and I speak from experience on that one Sad )

Am, were thinking Derek could get this model dishwasher?

http://my.opera.com/edwardpiercy/homes/files/French-Maid-1.jpg

Who needs dishes anyway.

That's it, I was running late and didn't have time to spell check. It's implied that he may have killed someone (I'm guessing wife or daughter, and possibly with puppet strings) then regretted it and tried to bring (her?) back to life, giving birth to the Wooden Girl.

I'm going to sleep. Too much work on Slendy and Fear right now. Let me know what happens while I'm gone?

Not sure if it's a clue, but I got my answer:

Quote:
Neville watches an "Easter Egg" on his Buffy disc that contains an older man addressing the camera. Is this man Ruggiero Magro?

yes.

Also, odd to note, these two (also from me, but I wasn't logged in):

Quote:

Anonymous asked: What was your name? You said you changed it.

my name no longer matters. all i do is controlled by her.

--------------------------------

Anonymous asked: I just asked about your name, I see it now, never mind.

you see i see we all see in a sea of troubles
