A (Not So) Quick introduction

Hey guys, didn't really know where to post this... I've meant to do this for the past week (the amount of time I've been a member of this site)...
I just wanted to say, being anywhere on the same server as the original Cloudmakers is an honor. You guys paved the way for an art form that is quickly becoming one of my favorite pastimes, though I wish there were more interesting things going on. Currently I'm following the PA3 ARG, but it's slow going.
I was loosely involved in both the Cloverfield and the Year Zero ARGs, and both were amazing experiences, even though I never actually managed to contribute much... Always just a little too slow, and never in the right place to attend any of the live events for the Year Zero one. Oh man, I would have loved to have been there for that concert, the night the SWAT Team busted in...
The Cloverfield one was fun, but it was the Year Zero one that got me really into the whole concept. It actually had this whole philosophy behind it that I found extremely intriguing, it really matched my own political thinking at the time; all anarchy and "controlled chaos". "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law," and all that ("Just remember, no one likes an asshole"lol). And, I'll admit, those pictures of "The Presence" scared the hell out of me, for some reason.
To be honest, I don't know a whole lot about the Beast; it's not near as interesting to read about it from the end as it would have been to follow it from the beginning.

In the end, I would make a much better Puppetmaster than I would a player. I'm not great at all the puzzle solving-type things that go on in your average ARG, but I'm a writer, so I can put a narrative together and make it feel real, and make it have the emotional impact this type of thing needs to work. So, if anyone needs a writer for a project, I'm in... though, I should admit, I am a bit of a procrastinator unless I'm extremely interested in a project. So, unless it's a great idea, you don't want me for it. lol
Again, it's an honor to be amongst you, and I hope at some point my mind can add something useful to the Collective Intelligence.
