You would be surprised at how often that weird ass natural distortion comes up on video when filming this kind of stuff. Three a.m. editing and finding that sort of nonsense sobers you up fast Laughing

 		Oh hey! So they do have one. Shoulda guessed.

I'm surprised how much of their real lives they let seep into the story. But the best stories are written about your own backyard, so it makes sense. It's especially cool that the "cucutas" was a real tale her grandmother told, I love myths. The thing about Daliah though - totally not surprising. When are little kids not creepy?

Oh. I went back a couple entries. This is an awesome little detail:

I don't usually bring her along to visit others, too long of a drive when I have no air conditioning. However, Evan plays peek-a-boo with her via TinyChat (when she wants to play she'll point at the computer and go "Ehhban, boo! boo! boo!")

 		I'm a TJA noob-- I've still got a few vids to watch and a few pages to read to be fully caught up. I have to quit for today, but I noticed a few things about the coded videos that hadn't been mentioned as of page 70. Don't wanna read ahead of the vids, but don't want to forget either. So here goes, forgive me if these have been noticed/solved:

The word written in twigs may be "Home." If so, when TJ & Amy were headed to Indiana, TJ was singing along with the music. At one point, she sings "Home is wherever I'm with you," pointing to Amy on "you". Is someone/something trying to lure a very lonely, currently homeless TJ back into her woods?

W/ the anagram thing, maybe line breaks aren't absolute. I see this:
might yees = eyesight + m
feast no = ??
fend ire = friend + e

Both words seem important in the story's context. Can we think of another one or two key words that are anagrams of "m feast no e"?

There's not enough Es in the sentence to make that work.

alternate anagrams:

see mighty // the is myeg // m eye sight

not safe (I'm pretty sure this one is right)

freed in // friend e

combine it all to:

"eyesight not safe friend me" Or something close to it?

This feels close.

I didn't say I was right, I just felt we were getting closer.
I do think that it might be one phrase rather than three. we could parse it as "My friend not safe, sight eee" Which is obviously not great either.
