ABC-Another Botched Concept

ABC...no wonder they're in last place for the major three networks...I would like to know who the brain surgeon was at ABC that decided to take not only a new show but a fledgling show concept and then put it against the number one show in America....DUH!

If I was Ben Affleck and found out that was going to happen, I'd tell ABC to stick it up their corporate Ass...

Push is really a decent show...I actually am starting to like it, and not just for the money...the show is good and lots of twist and turns about...and most importantly, I'm starting to care about the character's and the plot...have been since the first show.

When you stop and consider that it made it's debut at an 8 share or so, more than respectable for a new show, and now it's slipped to a 4 share and C.S.I. is on against it in the same slot, I think that it's actually holding it's own quite well.

I mean what did they expect? Push didn't have a prayer an ousting C.S.I., but when you consider that 4.3 million people are watching Push and NOT C.S.I., I think that that is an acomplisment in and of itself.

LONG LIVE PUSH!!!!

I can hear the pitch to Toyota now:

"Push is going to be the runaway hit of the season. We are still six weeks away from air and we've already got a tremendous buzz going on the Internet. You should see how rabid those guys are at http://www.argn.com. They've already found the website and hacked our voice mail. We're getting a bazillion hits at pushtimes.com and we can funnel that traffic straight to you. We're so convinced, we are going to slot the show against the biggest shows on the other networks."

Yeah right!

Yeah, but you really don't need too many people too account for all that traffic at pushtimes. I think there are a lot of people who honestly would watch push but don't want to give up watching what they've already been on other channels. If only Push had come first. If they just change the time slot, they'll get plenty better ratings as long as they can advertise it well enough. Don't they have some kind of suggestions page at ABC.com?
