OLD NEWS:

The SCOB axon (which barely worked; you can't really hear anything on the receiver if there's any background noise) and the Farmer building axon (which Annette succesfully got last week, guitar in hand) are both missing this week. Weird, but not altogether unexpected.

Also, I changed my description of the Mills axons because Bob and I deduced that you can have separate banks of phones at the same coordinates, because of the way the coordinates are calculated. We've got a (hand-drawn) map of all the phones that appear to be at certain coordinates, but if what we've been reading is right, the phones could be at any spot within the entire practically-two-mile-long mall. I can't get there anyway cos I've got an oral midterm (fun, right?) but if anyone's got the innate awesomeness to actually get the AZ Mills axons this week on Tuesday, we'd totally put a giant picture of you behind Marc Racicot and Bill Richardson too.

Also, since I'm doing my EDT 321 work outside of class this week, I can theoretically get all axons except for the two at the MU. Here's hoping we've been good enough boys and girls to get some live calls this week for the first time. Not good enough, apparently - no live calls. ;___;

It doesn't look like we can get any of these. Sigh.

Actually, I was (just barely) able to get to the 16:33 in Peoria last week. With any luck, I can be there again at 16:24 tomorrow, and maybe even get the 17:19 in Tolleson.

Hot damn! I wasn't even thinking about those. When I search for local axons, I go through DarkForge's coordinate lists for "Phoenix" and "Tempe". If you can get (and have gotten?) those two, then by all means, you are the most dedicated and awesome of all us enhottenators.

I'll add all Arizona axons to the list from now on.

I've got them updated. Shouldn't throw off our plan too much. Bob, when you get up, please send me axon assignments so I can update the thread with them.

If anyone wants to give me a direct call with relay questions/answers, call my personal "chatter" at (740) 334-2490. Our axon listing is here.

Looks like c&c will be a no go (barring my workload suddenly evaporating). If you do manage to make it, I highly recommend the Prime Rib. Smile

The salad bar aint too shabby, either.

We can't make it tonight Crying or Very sad

How's the price range? We're all poor college students but I guess a feast for bees is always in order.

Perhaps a bit pricey for the college folk. The bill was about $80 for my wife and I, including the aforementioned prime rib plus drinks. But I figure you could get away w/ 15-30 per person.

As it turns out, the dinner was a good way to bribe my wife into tolerating all of this.
