Urgent Mail from Dale entitled "Problems"

By now you've probably noticed that my www.synthasia.com site is down due to
server problems. I'm not really sure what is going on; I was right in the
middle of writing up an e-mail to send off to everyone out there helping me
when the entire server - webpages, webmail, and all - crashed hard. I've been
scrambling ever since to figure out what's going on and to make some kind of
alternative arrangements. I set up this new e-mail address to use temporarily
until I get the synthasia site back online. I wanted to tell everyone about a
couple of things that happened yesterday and today.
First, I received another forwarded message from that person at
the "rubinechus" e-mail address. He seemed to be a little annoyed at receiving
another e-mail for me but still sent it on anyway. I haven't had the time to
try make any sense of it, but here is all the new message said:

faeries hurl down scorn

That's it. Kind of strange considering I recently started corresponding with
that lady at the www.faerytrail.com site.
I also received another message from the mythosphere guide, "digitalis". I had
written to him telling him I was finished waiting for them (the mythosphere) to
help us find Wes, and threatening to turn myself over to the deadeyes, numbered
ones, whatever you want to call them. Don't worry, I wasn't really going to do
it but decided we needed to force their hand somehow. Couched in their usual
mystical mumbo jumbo, he basically told me that they were already trying to
find Wes and promised further contact with me and everyone else very soon.
We'll see if they keep their word. But I'm not sitting around and waiting in
the meantime.
With Sam's help, we did some checking into what books Wes had checked out of
the Aglaura Library lately. It turns out he took out quite a few.
Unfortunately, almost all of them could be classified as "obscure." Sam didn't
have time to read me the entire list over the phone earlier but should be
bringing me the written list soon. He had to work late because the Aglaura
network crashed today too. That seems a little too coincidental, doesn't it?
Almost like someone is trying to isolate Sam and I even further.
Sam is over at Wes' shop right now, trying out some more combinations on that
damn safe. We have to be even more discrete now because they've started an
official "Missing Persons" investigation into Wes' disappearance. That's why
Sam is down there alone; we're afraid Aglaura's finest may be watching the
place. Sam could explain his being there if necessary. After all, they've
already talked to the girl who works there for Wes and she told them of Sam
coming there a few times after Wes disappeared. He's got a natural excuse,
though, since he does web work for Wes all the time. We'd have a lot harder
time explaining my presence there.
I really wanted to tell you some more tonight but this server crash has really
shot my schedule to Hell. I've got a ton to do yet tonight to try and move some
more info, sites, etc. if you can, please help spread the word of my message to
everyone because I don't know how many e-mails I will be able to send.

Thanks for everything.

Dale

4 words in the msg
4 pics in the combo from Wes

5 letters in the last word
hand open to the universal symbol for 5 in the last pic

Not sure it means anything, just pointing out the obvious Smile

HUMOR of a kind Rodin

Quote:

Marko Rodin's ... vision ... in his book Aerodynamics ... was essentially a perception of a four dimensional sphere, which becomes a complicated toroidal structure when projected into three dimensions. He also perceived a mapping of an energy flow on the surface of this projected toroid.

Glad we have that cleared up.

Combo Puzzle

I think this is relevant to clearing it up, actually.
