The Metropolitan Museum of Art has an exhibit going on "Fra Carnavale and the Making of a Renaissance Master"
The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry has done Carne Vale parades.
Then, and this one is near and dear to my heart because of my hometown... Carne Vale in the US is the celebration of Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras in the US originated in Mobile, AL. It's where the Mardi Gras Museum is as well.
(Love how New Orleans likes to steal that title though. lol.)

Any of these would be clever for the Jester to send her to... but how do we choose? How are we supposed to know? And has anyone figured out what that bloody 9 is there for?
Check out what annaz said on Grace's blog post about where to go. She may have a point?

On the superscript w (if thats what it is)
Quote:
ʷ superscript w means labialized
or to make round
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labialisation
So now we have a rounded "O" which it was before
I've got something on the "9"or (,), back soon...

Or maybe not....
Because the diary followed many of the oddities of House of Leaves, see under CODES, COLORS here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Leaves
the 9 or (,) could be a message to someone as in this
Quote:
The check mark appears on the lower right hand corner of page 97. It is possibly a reference to Pelafina's letter requesting that Truant "Place in [his] next letter a check mark in the lower right hand corner. That way [she'll] know [he] received this letter" (House of Leaves 609). It also appears to mark the starting point of the book's more eccentric formatting patterns.
The check mark is not present in the UK edition of the book
ETA: On Mr Motley:

motley [ˈmɒtlɪ]
n
1. a motley collection or mixture
2. (Clothing & Fashion) the particoloured attire of a jester
3. (Performing Arts / Theatre) Obsolete a jester

Could "Carne Vale" be referring to "Death Valley"? Carne can mean flesh which is the origin of the word carnage or death. Vale means valley. There was the picture of the forest in the diary. Death Valley National Forest? What do you guys think? Still working on the mysterious link by the way...
I've been quickly lurking this thread for a while now, so I'm not entirely sure of what's going on here but I think I can help with this.
Even though "carne" does indeed mean "flesh", the word for "valley" is not "vale", but "valle" (or many other variations depending on wich romanic language you're using, but, as far as I know, the 'l' it's always double).
As someone posted already, the words "carne vale" are the ethimological origin for the word "carnival", that in most non-English speaking countries it's the name we give to Mardi Gras.

Booba. Maybe Anna G. is Anna Glace from the online girl games "for the young at heart"? She sells ice cream in the city and that wacky sentence anagrams to...
Sold Ice Cream North 'tho that's got zero to do with the 'museum' hint so prolly not.

Yeah, but gosh do I hate searching for anagrams that make sense... here's an iterative anagram solver that lets you choose your words: http://boulter.com/anagram/?letters=i+teach+me+scorn+lord&words=
Something I was thinking about: http://boulter.com/anagram/?letters=i+teach+me+scorn+lord&words=CHEAT+CODE+IS

He has interest in dreams.
So, the second word in this anagram is DREAMS.
I have: HE DREAMS I CONTROL C
Doesn't work, but I'm trying.
Edit--Balls. Ninja'd kind if. Technicolor dreams. Awesome work dude.
