Comedy these days has boiled down to very few variations - shock comedy which is just vulgar and nonsensical for the sake of it (South Park does it well, McFarlane tries and sorta fails); sketch comedy (SNL to varying success/failure); mockumentary (The Office, Parks&Rec); and meta comedy (Community, Arrested Devlopment. Easily the best kind). I want a show that breaks the mold but networks are too chickenshit to take chances.

Maybe Troseph's comedy series is the one to do it!

If it's like Joseph Writes A Paper and Joseph Plays A Trumpet, very possibly.

I don't think most of the humor in The Office/Parks and Rec is derived from the mockumentary presentation, it's a pretty normal sitcom, just minus obnoxious laugh tracks and every joke being pitched by the writers finding its way in.

For me one of the funniest shows on tv is Archer - if you like AD you'll love it, and everybody should like AD. Also, Always Sunny, which isn't like AD but it's gold, Jerry, gold.

Forgot I watch South Park, when I can remember to download new episodes. I hardly watch any TV at all, really. I think the last TV series I followed the shit out of was when Death Note was on Adult Swim.

Excited for whatever Troseph's Comedy Series (that's the name, copyright 2011 (C) Randoman96) will be.

What, are you going to force them to buy it from you if they want to use it?

Modern Family has taken a chance by having a gay couple with an adopted asian girl, and they did start it rather conservative, but have gradually opened there relationship tastefully.

The only T.V. I watch is old Nick (All That, Amanda Show and a butt-load of cartoons) WWE, and Adventure Time and Regular Show with my little brother.
(And I have to say, those two cartoons might do Cartoon Network some good if they keep it running...)

Any series that does a clip show of itself in the second episode is awesome in my book. Clerks Animated always seemed to me like Kevin Smith just screwing around because ABC wouldn't let him do the stuff he wanted to do, and it worked well enough. New episodes would be kinda cool.

im confused by randos response. it was too long to read.. what is he getting at? Wink
EDIT - aww rando editted.

remember " he didnt say no" doesnt mean he said yes, but i agree. it was a good cartoon. and he is aware that ppl enjoyed it, now with his movie career ending (supposedly) once hes through touring Red State, and completes his hockey movie, besides his Smodcast, he doesnt have any plans.

and yes, this is relative to Troys blog...
ummm
ya
