"Verified Twitter accounts" are Twitter's way of saying "this is the actual twitter account for this celebrity/professional, not a copycat."

Wouldn't it be a mindfuck if he could get the Jay/MarbleHornets twitter account verified first?

Thats what I mean, get a non-famous person verified.

Among unfiction and YouTube cretins, perhaps. But the internet at large does not really care about El Hombre Alto, much less a single story centered on him.

This is really a shame because of all the people I talk to about it, I don't think one of them has ever liked it after watching the whole thing. My sister did but all of my friends were like "Meh" and then there are the ones that flat out refuse to watch it. :/ They're also tired of my mentionings of it too, I think xD

Oh it definitely is a shame. Marble Hornets is much better written and produced than Paranormal Activity, and yet people eat that shit up. At least Roger Ebert understands... which is why he has always had and always will have my undying respect.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Just for the record, Paranormal Activity was a shitty movie and you should feel bad for comparing it to Marble Hornets in any way.

I agree, that shit just wasn't scary. I think that one thing that makes this scary is the fact that we don't know what the fuck this thing is, how to defeat it, what it wants, or even what it really does, but it's still scary as fuck. Paranormal activity: We knew exactly what it was from the very beginning, and exactly how to defeat it, all that dumbass needed to do was call the exorcist. In MH, even moving away didn't help Alex. EDIT: Also, everyone needs to quote this so we can have a spoiler pyramid

As shitty as it truly was, both are presented as found footage - audiences eat shit like that up, so imagine how popular Marble Hornets could be if it hit mainstream.

You know I said it was a shame more people don't know about MH but there is a benefit to this I think. I really like this small little fanbase, that's pretty accessible.

Yeah, if it was more popular, than this place would be more like imdb, just horrible.

How about this? When it's done, they can make it go mainstream, then we all get to put on hipster glasses and form an elitist group of people who liked Marble Hornets before it was mainstream.
