Those are the audio logs we originally got. You should be able to download them all. I think it's showing us how they go in order or something like that? I'm not entirely sure about that.

do you know this, or are you making a guess? I don't recall anything we've seen that had names like "dw 0xx045" plus the original audio logs were all garbled with many pieces overlapping and backwards etc etc.

Just check the log files yourself, but i'll attach two to show you.

The first one and the last one.

Now none of these have dw in front of them, but they're all formatted the same and I assumed they were meant to mean these are the logs for that specific day that was recorded.

Just checked and yes they all say the same date as the one's that are pointed out on hat list. So each list is a list of audio's recorded on that day.

No response from Alvarez yet, and no update to the IDGI1 site.

There is a new javascript on the interdimensonal site just updated today. I think it's meant to be used with the twitter? As when you click on the twitter icon now it will load up Vidal's latest tweets which I don't think it did that before. So it seems they're trying to update the site's before continuing on.

Well, still no real updates. This wait is getting kind of ridiculous.

However, they posted a more updated version of the trailer-type video that they had on the YouTube channel.

Ok, now I'm confused.

I follow the Culture and Philosophy feed in Google Reader. It just gave me new posts that seemed to be IG. I clicked on the post title, and it took me to a blog on new site at http://corporate.interdimensionalgames.com. The first of these posts were all the previous Press&News posts. Then, there is one new post.

I went to the iDGi website, clicked on Culture and Philosophy, and it took me to the old, OOG company blog. I then clicked on Press&News, thinking this might be replacing it. It took me to the old Press&News blog. I then opened, in Firefox, the RSS feed for C&P. The items pointing to the new site were not there. The new site has its own feed with these items. This furthered the confusion.

Also, the new site has more in-depth versions of the main site's About, Company, and Recruiting pages, as well as new pages: Our Location (contact page with a new general contact email address), Support, and Press Kit (which is a bunch of wallpapers and stuff).

The confusion goes even further as there is a video player at the top of the site. One of the videos is titled "ARG trailer," a rather OOG sounding name on an IG looking site.

My best guess is that they are re-structuring their websites and that they accidentally posted stuff from the new site to the other RSS feed, causing it to show up in Reader, but then deleted it. As for the melding of IG and OOG, I have no explanation. Hopefully they will clear this all up.

EDIT: Yeah, this does seem like some sort of WIP. I clicked on the hyperlinked word "free" in the new "Press&News" type post, and it linked to a post on "dev.interdimensionalgames.com/forum" which produced a browser password prompt. Whatever this is, I don't think it was meant for our eyes quite yet.

This probably relates to the new opening I had seen on the main site it was a choice between corporate, and experience. Corporate bringing to the old blog. So I guess this was supposed to be the new one, and that's why you don't see that opening anymore.

Anyways there have been tons of updates behind the scenes. They've uploaded a favicon to both sites. So right now I think they're cleaning everything up before updating the ARG.

If you ask me what it looks like they may be getting ready for an ad campaign for the ARG since they're cleaning everything up.

Well, I just paid a visit to the main site and let the intro play through. It was the same as always for me. Strange face included.

Oh! I read the new Support page. I think they're a little annoyed at your OOG manipulation. XD

Tinkering with our systems: First off, we generally encourage users to explore our content and the content on the other side of the Interdimensional Rift, to the fullest extent. However, we use Flash to help us visualize much of the data from the Rift, so it is extremely important NOT to touch the saved Flash states that we set. If you don't know what we're referring to, then not to worry; this doesn't apply to you. If you HAVE messed around with the states, and run into issues as a result, your only course of action is to use the "clear all progress" function and restart from scratch.

EDIT: It also has a new, possibly OOG, second support email.
EDIT2: Actually, I don't see the old support address anywhere...

Well I haven't run into a problem with the flash states. (I don't mess with the code inside even if I did know how to do that.) The only problem I had was when the new site was up and nobody could access the flash file.

So yeah I only use them for prior states just in case something goes wrong with the others (or in this case helping with the morse code solving on the church side)

Edit: Yep. The RSS feed has been changed to the new blog. Guess they didn't like the old one?

Tweet by Vidal. Likely in response to our little conversation here.

Was posted about 7 hours ago. Midnight for me.

EDIT: The new intro on the main site is up for me, but they're probably still making changes. The new post on the corporate site still says "Gam" in the author field (there's no Gam listed on the team page), and the two sites just seem really redundant with each other.

wow everything has definitely changed for me. it's a little confusing quite honestly.

you now get to choose between 'corporate' and 'experience' i'm not sure i understand the metagame they are trying to create here.

plus you can replay the little flash videos, like the intro

going to idgi.net now contains a link for 8.15.2011 (it was 8.12 before) but there doesn't seem to be anything new

Ok, the pages on the "Experience" site have now been changed to make them less redundant. The About page is now about how the satellite came to be, the Team page has been updated to list all the new people, and Recruiting has been updates with the same blurb from the new site.

However, the old Press & News blog is still there and without the new post, even though I think it's clear the new blog is going to supersede it. The Contact link also still links to the old "support" email address instead of the new "inquiries" one.

In the end I think their goal is to kind of give iDGi-1 its own section of the website and to separate out all the company stuff. Obviously, due to the redundancies and inconsistencies I just mentioned, it's still a work in progress. However, they're getting close to a rather smooth final product.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, a personal suggestion to the PMs:
Firstly, I think that Culture and Philosophy, the only truly OOG game part of your site, should be linked to from both sites, and also, I think it would be a good idea to put links in each site to allow for easier switching to the other.

EDIT: Ok... They got rid of Culture and Philosophy and merged all of its OOG posts into the new blog... except for those that talked about the ARG. I guess this means that we're no longer going to be getting OOG news about it? Or is another site on the way?

New tweet from Vidal:

We are working to figure out how to advance time past March 4th...

I guess this is a nudge from the PM's saying that an update will come soon.

Oh, heh. You posted right as I edited my last post.
That's right! Since those coordinates corresponded to a specific date, even the day we connect to doesn't change! That's why nothing's happened!
