ChildrenofZ's parents worked for KRFGroup, but they died in 1981, apparently due to an accidental outbreak due to their mistakes. He believes they were murdered by KRF.

KJ worked for them in IT, after leaving the military. He departed (potentially on poor terms). He has been contacted recently by peopel in KRF, but he didn't want to talk to them. He seemed to believe that this person was worthless as a contact. Despite this, he has expressed a desire to tell them (potentially KRF) something (possibly his 'mistake').
Additionally, KRF is strongly interested in getting more info on him.

Space, Applied Science, and Genetics research.

Genetics
No mention of Virology, which the Flu is a virus and Z1 appears to be like it. Viruses have RNA (i think, so that may be their angle for genetics research).

Space
I doubt there is a coincidence that they are involved in Space research and presently have setup shop in the same city as the headquarters for NASA (Johnson Space Center). Additionally, it has been suggested that Z1 is artificial (alien manufacture? kinda out there...).
Additionally, the subject 'space' is so diverse, this is a real nonsense statement. Super High-altitude balloons? Exoplanets? Astronomy? Radio astronomy? Rocketry? Satellites?

Applied Science
This is out there as well. Applied Science can be very diverse. Lockheed Martin is often in this spot.
Basically, it bridges the gap between theoretical research and producing stuff. It also is primarily an engineering discipline. Scientists play a role, but normally it is filled with engineers with a strong scientific background.

Sometimes acting as contractors, sometimes a subset of a company. Always a part of a large scheme of things. Basically, applied science CANNOT act on its own, strictly speaking. They don't mass produce it. They rarely will create a new scientific theory (normally modify, improve, or elaborate existing ones, if at all).

Consequently, KRF Group might work for the government (no evidence) or it might be part of a still larger organization.

My theory on KRF's governmental involvement is along the lines of that they are ultimately an independant company to themselves but more than likely are pulling significant anonymous funding from key figures either in the government or those with very close ties to it. This could certainly explain the need for the very open term "Associate" when referring to anyone that has made a significant contribution to their cause.

So, as we've already imagined KRF is extremely well funded and probably has more than its fair share of strings to pull should the opportunity or need present itself.

My bigger questions fall more along the lines of what their true purpose or ultimate intent for the research that they are doing. Bioweaponry? Some sinister back plot to destroy the world and everything in it? What stake do the people making these contributions have to gain? Who knows, but I have a feeling before real long we will have a way to look behind the curtain and see some things for ourselves.

The KRF were founded in 1947, the same year as the roswell incident. Were they involved in cover up of an alien crash and recovered alien bodies? Some of sotpyrk 's tweets give the impression that he may not be entirely human himself.

Could sotpyrk be the result of a genetic experiment to combine human/alien DNA….

Genetics…….if they were involved in roswell they could have started genetic experiment then with the alien bodies.
Applied science…….reverse engineering of recovered spacecraft, linking back to Space Policy.

If the above, out there, theory were true it would mean that the KRFgroup were responsible for the outbreak in 2001, and that Z1 is an alien virus. They have no choice but to go public now, so are playing the good guys to hide their terrible pass..

But it may not be connected at all, im just frustrated now as I cant see what way to go…
