I'm thinking maybe Alex was filming himself in 42-44 to test a theory he had, or confirm his own suspicions. He's got an idea about the filming/TO connection, but he needs to be sure to continue with his plan. So he deliberately puts himself into close proximity to TO and films it. Now he can go ahead with a plan to save Amy, based on what he learned by exposing himself to Slendy. In 45 he's changing tapes, yeah, but it's possible he's using it as basic surveillance against non-TO intruders/stalkers. *cough*TTA*cough*Jay*cough*

Wow, this video made me return here. This video was sure interesting. I really have nothing to add, because I feel some serious shit just hit the fan here and I'm trying to wrap my brain around it.

The camera doesn't seem to only distort when Alex is angry, from what I've seen, it seems to distort simply whenever he gets close to it at all. There's noticeable audio distortion when Jay swipes Alex's keys. Timasky and Jessica also caused distortion, so it may be a side effect from too much exposure to the Operator?

a speculation i had regarding "noentry" (entry 29)

- the rag soaked in blood makes me think the blood was coughed into it, and doing so was to prevent whoever had the slendysickness from making any noise. that person then snuck up on their target and bashed someone with the rock



i also think that alex willingly went to slendy in entry 43 simply to find out what happens when you come in contact with him. previously i don't think we've ever seen alex show any kind of symptoms of being claimed by slendy before entry 43 (no coughing up blood, or coughing in general). while slendy stalked alex, he never "took" him like he did jay. i think entry 44 is the aftermath of the incident, and is just alex's reaction to what happened in 43, but i also don't think that he's posessed in any way. i think the call to jessica about amy was to keep her away from the trouble. alex writing "the operator" over and over is because that's all he can think about after feeling the effects of a paranormal being. he tells jay the truth because he knows jay already has experience with slendy and the maskys. although slendy still appears to be following alex, he let him go in 43, implying that he doesn't want to kill him. so i don't think that means that in noentry either alex wasn't the one killed, or slendy wasn't the one who did the killing.

the only time we really see slendy "take" alex is in entry 44 after he comes into contact with him in 43. in 46 alex doesn't run after jay because he doesn't turn around and see slendy since he's facing jay (a fact that jay seems to "fudge" if you will). it's implied that slendy doesn't harm alex here either. so it leads me to believe that by walking into it like alex did, he created a bond with slendy that makes slendy protect him from anyone else.


isn't it possible that entry 19/return was tim drugging jay or something and leaving a camera on jay to see for himself if slendy had any interest in harming jay? since tim clearly led jay to that house they're in, and tim clearly is afraid of slendy, i don't think he'd stick around to get within hugging distance.
