I'm another of those who figured out the URL (that book - indeed, the first three of the series - was one of my favorites as a young adult), but some tens of minutes searching, I've not found a link. The talk above certainly has me intrigued, if only as a possible hint for future ways of finding seals, but I've given up trying to find the link.

I found the link first, then solved it (8th), after trying to guess the URL. Basically, if you know the reference to Giant's Drink,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there is a place you want to get to. That place, could be a figment of your imagination, so find a place on the website where YOUR ego could be inflated by admiring your spoils

Did not find the link, but figured out the URL.
Interesting to note that there is more than one solution.

further...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the spoils you are looking at aren't your theorems solved or seals gotten, but the overall total

I understand that the url is related to the topic of the seal, but there are maybe tens of different words that match that criteria - maybe you bruteforced it and tried all of them? Otherwise I can't imagine how you guessed it.
Btw the link is not "hidden" or "obscured" as some of the other links are. It's a normal link that looks like a link in a text like almost all other normal links that you see on the site. It's in plain sight on a certain page as hinted by scooter22.

Apparently anything works provided it
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
contains a certain key word

As did I.
I've never read the work of fiction in question, personally.

That was fun! With the hint for finding the link -- which is quite visible from the correct page (as in the hint) - no need for source view.
Then you get a fun 'old school' like text 'game' (a la Zork) in which you need to enter the correct answer. You get to try many times from that page so keep putting 'key' words/ phrases in and that's it.
Nice!
Thanks for the hint to find the link!

There's a very specific "prize" in the Giant's Drink game in the story, I tried that and it worked.
I've since found the link based on the clues above, so thanks everyone.

Forgot all about the site again, this week. Just came in and found this one. I guess it's not much different from the seals where you just needed to go somewhere; But, I found this one wholly uninteresting.

I may be getting ability and fun mixed up! This one was fun for me since I was able to do it logically. I am totally not interested in the time-based clickers like the clock and the only one I still can not do - Anti Social Media.
That Anti Social Media one is the only one (besides some date ones) that I still have not been able to do!
Did I mention I HATE speed, timer-based clickers!?!

Seal # 49 Could be nothing, but anyone want to venture a guess why the Giant's drink seal is # 50, instead of 49 (there are 49 total seals thus far):
http://www.themastertheorem.com/members/seals/50
If you replace the 50 with 49, you get the "page not found". Could a seal have been cancelled? Or just awaiting new marching orders?

Knowing M, it's just something that hasn't dropped yet.
