Ok so trout me if I deserve it but: Follow me on this one-

We know AI's carry a dormant limited backup. So, if according to regular monarch rule a princess bcomes a Queen then vice verse right. So is it possible it is some reference to The queen once being a princess - that is a backup copy?

Ok so I'm out there I know but hey - new life to an old puzzle might get something clicking (That and I'm about 50+ pages late in this puzzle lol)

hrm.... I seem to remember one of the princess stories mentioning how the queen became a queen, but I can't remember exactly, and I lost my copy when my hd crashed. Anyone else out there?

So, it appears that the possible answers to the SPs latest "clue" (and what they could 'sound like') are:

Melissa -- "a list of"
Operator -- "a parade of"
Widow -- ??
Girl
Yasmine
Dead
Spirit
Ghost
Shipwrecked

Is this at all helpful?

also, possibly "Spartan" if the spec about Melissa = Durga = Yasmine is fully true. We know one half, but are somewhat unsure about the second half (or I'm just a fence sitter here).

This is where SP initially refers to Melissa as "The Queen" but it doesn't say how she became one. http://ilb.extrasonic.com/index.php/The_Widow%27s_Journey

Total spec here, but what if SP's clue refers not to Operator but simply "OP," which I understand Melissa is also referred to. Then the hint is that the answer is a two-word phrase O___ P____.

Actually, if I could just put my two cents in, it might not help, but I think that people were on the right track with the fact that all the words were prepositions in the first clue and that "Sounds like" has to do with the word preposition....meaning actually "Pre-position" or maybe even "pre-positions". This, I think, links to the second clue from today about what the "least favourite person" was "before she became Queen"...i.e. what was her "pre-position", if that makes sense. I just can't figure out what that position was. I've tried everything that The Queen has been referred to, as I'm sure other people have.

Perhaps this is a pointless post or I'm speaking to the obvious and I'm just thinking "out loud" on the forum so to speak, but I'm hoping that maybe it will spark some thought in someone else. Thanks.

Trout me is you will, but...

Before she ever met the Queen, who was Melissa's least favorite person? I thought it was "old man," for almost getting McKaskill in trouble.

Edit: What's the name of the file/page that has Melissa/OP thinking back to her time on the ship?

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Melissa=Durga=SP, and therefore the answer would be Spartan?

What was Melissa before she became the Queen?

The Operator.
Alive.
In space.
Sane.
A friend.
Aboard a ship.

Just rounding up possibilities... Idea

Don't forget flash clone. Well, technically the flash clone is what replaces the original human, so maybe that's not it. Oh well, stick it on the list anyway. Wink

we need to remember that what we got today was a hint, so whole sounds like hole yes,b ut think, would have you come up with the word 'whole' from the original clues? if not then its not gonna work. This probably wasnt meant to be a 2 week puzzle, we are just not looking in the right corner, i know we are all gonna feal retarded when we find the answer was infront of us the entire time =/

i would tend to leave out anything that is pre awakening of SP. as she has no memory of being Yasmine, a Spartin, Durga or what have you, this seems unlikely to me.

In the puzzles today there were some clues that had rows of *** characters around them. Turned out the puzzle was actually about stars. Maybe there is a similar reason for the dashes/hyphens/whatever. I was thinking that they are also minus signs which is a mathematical operator

I didn't get anywhere else with it so it's probably nothing...

I'm not entirely sure of that. We don't really know what SP knows. It is quite possible that she has been there all the while; locked up in her coffin, even during Melissa's "normal" operation.

Meanwhile, back at the Justice League...There has to be significance to "between" as it is between 20 prepositions. It's just stting there smack in between them...mocking me.

Edit: Just remembered that the Widow's story tells us that it (the widow) found the Queen dead, so we might deduce that the Queen was alive before the crash.
