Isn't Poker Face an Eldrich Abomination to begin with?

I don't think he has. I read that as O'Brien would be so far ahead of the comedy curve that he would have made Slender Man jokes before all of the late night hosts knew about Him.
Exactly.

Lady Gaga will take it to the mainstream either by mentioning it, or dressing as Slendy in a music video/concert...
I was joking about the latter, but, who knows, she might be able to pull this out...
Or she releases the Eldritch Abomination remix of Poker Face.
Obviously the worst possible scenario is Stephanie Meyer finding out about Slender Man. Since she's the poster child for Did Not Do the Research, she would just come up with her own version of what Slender Man is. It is quite possible there would be sparkles involved and a star-crossed romance with a teenaged girl. Then all of her fans will invade every Slender Man related forum/website/YouTube channel complaining about the lack of romance in them.
Oh God... she would probably call it something like "In The Woods" and the whole series would just be The Rake whining about how Slendy is always off stalking people and he's never home and there is no reason they can't be in love, dammit.

I still think it's cool that Pegg knows of our skinny bud.
(And speaking of Stephanie Meyer and Slenderman, you guys should seek out SiticHybrid's Romantic Rake meme. Shit's gold, son)

If Slender Man goes mainstream, I am going to sell out SO HARD. You guys don't even know. I will be riding them coattails to stardom. Then once the fad fades, my celebrity status will crash down, forcing me onto the streets as I beg for money to pay the cost of those twelve sports cars I bought in a fit of fame induced insanity.

The next step up from Simon Pegg is Lady GaGa. She's a good transitory celebrity between geek famous and nongeek famous. Then George Clooney. Then Oprah. Then a 'concerned citizens' piece on a 24 hour news channel titled something like "Slenderman - harmless fun or dangerous prank?", followed by some bad jokes on a late night show that isn't Conen O'Brien - who already did a Slenderman comedy skit 3 months earlier.
At this point the cycle feeds back into itself over and over until the fad is either destroyed or transformed into something sustainable and unrecognizable.

They should use that picture in every acting class ever as an example of how not to portray terror. Is that the WHY HE MAKE MOVE NOW girl? Wasn't one bout of internet humiliation enough?

I would like to see another horror movie starring Simon Pegg and the rest, and if they used this idea, I wouldn't mind.

Would that that were true, Chase. Don't you remember the hilarious /b/tard schism she caused? There were a whole lot of folks who worshiped at Boxxy's feet.

Before they take a crack at Slenderman, they need to finish their Blood and Icecream trilogy. It's been ages since Hot Fuzz!
