10 digits The word EVERYTHING has 10 letters. I wonder if there is a connection.

Also received a call, 5:07 pm CST, 574 Area code (Indiana). It was Angela, asking for James, and then saying that we need to move quickly. Something or other about the L3 survey and she needed some sort of code.
Remember what we were suppose to recall after finishing the first phase?

To participate in the study please first commit the following phrase to memory: "Apple 2 Twelve-R You ". Once memorized, please click on the L3-AQP-AAC link.
If anyone else gets a call from Angela, try "Apple 12 RU"

Phone Call Someone called while I was out. They asked for me by my screen-name. My son told them it was the wrong number. GREAT! now I probably won't get any more calls. Do you think it would be worth it to forward another email with my cell phone number?
Of course when I tried to explain to my son what it was, he started giving me the third degree about "giving out personal information over the internet, how dangerous it can be and how could I be so irresponsible." Gosh, I wish I were 15 again so I could know EVERYTHING again!!!

Had a call from Angela while I was out. Got home, message on the message pad saying "Call Angela Ross". Hard to do when she didn't leave a number.
Jamesi, want to mail me the one you have? I'll give it a try.
Crappy.
PS - been working on that dang code from the raygat file all day, got nowhere with lots of different ciphers using keys like "everything", "remember", "the key is everything" and others.

Is Angela sending us down the wrong path, or are we supposed to go ahead with the key she is giving us?
Also, sorry for my last post repeating someone else, for some reason the last 3 or 4 posts here last night didn't show up on my "borrowed" computer. Didn't mean to come across as a repeating dumb ass!

The word EVERYTHING corresponds to the numeric key:
1 9 2 7 10 8 4 5 6 3
(you just write the number corresponding to the alphabetical order of each letter)
So the KEY is 1 9 2 7 10 8 4 5 6 3 (everything)
I ran this through some numeric key ciphers (gronsfeld, columnar transposition) and still nothing.. but at least this confirms vigenere and a few other alphanumeric key ciphers are out which I was figuring out since i tried a million different variations...
What numeric key encryption methods are there? It's so frustrating to have the KEY but not know which cipher to use!!

On the quantumnetwork.net site, and clicking on the agent login link, we're asked for a password. When typing in the password the box accepts up to 8 characters. The word REMEMBER is 8 characters. I tried converting the word to a numeric password (72536148) using the above technique but access was still denied.
Also, in the messages that we're receiving, we're getting calls from Ray and from Angela. Ray is stating that he doesn't trust Angela. Are they working together or against one another?

missed two calls Well, I got a call too, sort of. While we were out of town this weekend, we got
a call on our cellphone. I answered and they asked if Jim was available so I handed
him the cell phone. It's actually his work cellphone that I just occasionally use.
I had used that number when they asked to send our contact numbers since I knew
we would be out of town all week. So the person on the phone says something like
this...
Jim, this is Angela, a friend of Ray. It's imperative that we...
At this point he stopped her and said "I think you have the wrong number. Who
are you again?"
She repeated the same thing like she was reading from a script. He figured out
then that it was one of my games and said "I think you want to talk to my wife" and
they just hung up.
I couldn't figure out how they new my husband's name and why they would ask for
him rather than Varin, since that's the name I had used in my emails for virtuquest
so far. I was kinda freaked out because I thought that maybe they were looking
up personal info using the number I provided. Finally, the mystery was solved when
I saw that when using the webmail function on my email (since I couldn't use my computer
all week), the send from default on the account was under my husbands name.
So I don't know what Angela would have told me
I also sent my home number too, and just checked my messages. I got a message
from Angela Ross saying she was sorry that she missed my call. Did I call her?

it can't be a direct number translation from everything, as the numbers corresponding to the two e's are different.... so we need to figure out how the sequence is related to the word everything... if the second e is 2...
also, angela said it was a ten digit code... ehsan's code is 11 digits.

Konamouse mentioned an idea she had in chat: finding the letters in EVERYTHING on a telephone keypad. I thought someone would do it, but apparently not. Here goes:
Code:
E V E R Y T H I N G
3 8 3 7 9 8 4 4 6 4
Hope this gives someone an idea.

Hi everyone. Looks like alot has happened while I was out of town. I havent recieved anymore calls because I was at the hospital all weekend(dad is sick) and you cant have your phone on inside there plus with all of that going on I could barely remember what day it was let alone any type of passwords.
By the way way i dont have a caller id so i dont where my calls were placed from.

It's okay if the two e's are different because you increment as you go along in alphabetical order and repeated letters get incremented from left to right.. I actually got the numerical key from a decyption applet before Angela's hint was posted here.. so if the word was "ababa" it would correspond to "14253"..
Anyway I missed the 11 digits part.. I was assuming Angela meant 10 numbers and not exactly 10 digits.. this could be another dead end... and so many people are missing telephone calls we're not getting any hints
Oh, and I tried converting to telephone keypad digits (multiple standards including the 1 or starting from the 2).. Did it for the entire string actually, but still didn't look promising...

I posted this reply under another topic, but then read this so thought I'd repost it. I'm brand new to this type of game and know nothing about decoding or deciphering, however, from the little research I've done, it seems that several coding systems use "keys" or "keywords." I'm trying to do what I can, but since I know so little, it's a very slow process. Has anyone else tried to decipher the raygat.qnc file using "everything" as the key?

I think it's interesting that she says it's a 10 digit key and then says the numbers are.... instead of saying the digits are..... also, one of the numbers she gives is ten, which is 2 digits. I would say the numbers represent the digits somehow. 1, 9, 2, 7, 10 translated directly to the alphabet would be A, I, B, G, J. Doesn't mean anything to me though.
