With the memory loss thrown in, these entries could go in just about any order. It really doesn't matter that Alex was scouting with J in #13, because we already have ample proof that J was more involved in the production of Marble Hornets than he remembered when he started the channel. It could've taken place at the end and it would still make sense.

ok but my main point is that TO isn't targeted to him because of being captured on film while he was holding the camera. if you want to place 12 before 13 then alex wasn't the cameraman in that. if you want to place 2 before 12 then i could argue that alex never caught him on film in that entry, and jay never posted the continuation of that

the fact is that alex was not paranoid until TO started stalking him, and the only entry we really see alex see TO in without being bothered is entry 12. he may have not been aware of it, sure, but i think they'd lead us on if they wanted us to think that was the case

well what other reason could there be for tim to take it off? he didn't want jay to take his mask off in entry 18

Randoman provides some of the best incite on this forum, imo.

And also, have you ever considered that it's any of these:

•Some kind of a directional marker.
•A different mask.
•Some kind of symbolism. (Maybe it's a big ol' FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU)
•Some kind of territorial marker. (ie: many people have theorized the mask keeps TO away, so maybe Tim assumed that an unworn mask would keep him away as well.)
•Maybe it's a different masky's mask? (I don't actually believe in multiple maskies. (Excluding the new guys, like blaskie, hoodie, etc. I mostly just don't believe skully.)


There are lots of possibilities, other than "put this on."
If Tim was trying to help Jay by telling him to put on a mask, why would he try to beat the snot out of him on multiple other occasions?

I'm still not understanding why Alex running toward the Operator at the old pool house would make any sense at that point in time of the season. None at all. Alex apparently ran back to what he felt was safety.

In Admission(?) when TO walks towards the camera, presumably TiMasky, I always assumed that was Tim distracting the Operator from Jay - NOT the Operator stalking Tim.

And yes, there is a difference between those two things:

I have a dog. One day my dog is chasing a car, so I throw a tennis ball in my dog's general direction to distract her. My dog takes the bait and chases the ball.

Read that analogy again with TO as my dog, Jay as the car, and Tim as the ball. The Operator's primary goal was not to stalk Tim, he was just distracted from Jay.
