I have to say that I am in love with the character thay have made Sight into. She is the sort of sympathetic character I would make as a very motherly person. This really just redoubles my hope that the poor girl can make it out the other side of this.
Unfortunately, if she is held together and kept alive with parts of other children it is not looking like she will make it out alive. I only hope she can find some semblance of peace in the end.

In this and the dog video, I kept expecting Sight to crawl out of the shower behind Amy. Something about the way the camera kept coming to rest on the one edge of the curtain.

Wow, I always felt like they were good film makers (I always thought they were clever in their effects for the series) but that writing blew me away. Guess it can be said that the dog incident is laid to rest and long forgotten, looks like this series is turning quite spectacular (:

So, does this mean the doctor weird be the weird bird thing (seedeater?)

Yeah, I think that the doctor from the diaries is the Plague Doctor from the vids. That mask is like ones worn by physicians during the black death. The long, nose-like part would be filled with herbs thought to protect the wearer from the plague.

Which, of course, makes me wonder how long he's been around.

Sorry if these questions have already been answered, but I don't want to wade through 85 pages to see if it's already been discussed:

1) In the first video they mentioned that their film project was going to be Slender Man based, but they don't seem to know that they're being stalked by Slender Man. Did they just hear a bare-bones second-hand account of SM from someone else, which is why they don't recognize him? Or is it something else?

2) When they posted a video showing SM standing next to their bunk beds as they slept, they didn't comment on his presence. Is something preventing them from noticing certain things in the videos, like how the EH people couldn't notice certain things in their videos?

3) At the end of "Update with Dahlia" there was the faint sound of breaking glass. Did that ever connect to anything else?

4) At the end of one of the videos they found a woman I didn't recognize passed out on their lawn with blood trickling out of her mouth. What was up with that? (Or was it an existing character and I just suck at facial recognition?)

5) There's a supernatural creature involved in addition to SM and the blindfolded girl? Is that what's barfing up black gunk onto people?

Thoughts as I watched it:

Hey, Doctor Who referenced at the start. And they're watching an episode. Judging from the "Next Time" trailer I hear the audio of, they just watched "Blink" (the NTT was for "Utopia").

As they're walking around outside to the basement door, the lighting goes through several interesting shifts.

Woooo, lots of blood downstairs, what the hell?

Oh boy, not good.

Huh, interesting that TJ is cold, and Amy isn't, and it's, as Amy says, about 60F outside.
