Erm. I highly suggest we don't do that (work against others). 1) we don't do that here, 2) it doesn't foster community, let alone positive attitudes, 3) it's very elitist and annoying Smile If you want to protect your solutions, I'd recommend going to a forum that does do that sort of thing, there are many out there (and they're not unfiction - love this place! Wink )

One of the reasons I enjoy the world of ARG so much is the sense of community. No one learns if they are shut out.

Plus note what they say about greater potential rewards. Pardon my being meta, but that means the more people that are in on this, the more they are willing to dump on funding for prizes. =p So yes there is in fact selfish incentive to get more people in on this.

I think they should take a page from TDKR's viral and use a hashtag for it and not just the website on twitter. That could get way more attention.

Anyway, I try to keep my Facebook free from advertising, as cool as I think this thing is. I did spread the word to a friend though who is on my facebook, so counting Sinz, that makes 2 people on my FB who are registered. =D

One way or another, I'm registered to win a gas mask. Yay! >_>

EDIT: Also, no email here.

EDIT2: Also worth noting, reading between the lines with Google Translate, all of the foreign language tweets so far say the same thing the first English tweet does minus the URL.

EDIT3: Rather obvious, but also worth noting if someone hasn't already. Ian Sider -> Insider. Perhaps the guy wanting to expose Umbrella is an employee of theirs on some level?

What's a remora fish?
You are more awesome for referring to that. Wink

I could point you to the Wikipedia entry. However, watch "Layer Cake" starring Daniel Craig and Michael Gambon...

you gotta find the sewer map on line, try typing racoon city sewers, then zoom in when you find it, go to the link it gives you, then on the bottom if the 1st link you will see the code, its on the bottom right page of the letter written by the scientist. i could just give you it tho but wheres the fun in that?

I don't know why I am so blind! I have zoomed on this multiple times, up to 6400% even, and cannot find the link. Sad

Also, is there a reason I cannot find this topic when searching UF for "umbrella corporation" ??

Hi there Nexan. Laughing Searching in "News & Rumors" should bring up this thread. The birkinfiles info is almost hidden along a horizontal line.

Another way to see it is with Adobe Reader that lets you hide layers. The top layer has the words, disable all except that layer and you can find it a bit easier Smile
