LOL at the Slender Man mpreg fanfic. I think it's a sign of how the internet has corrupted me that mpreg with HABIT!Evan as the daddy was the first thing that popped into my head when the pregnancy suggestion was made.

Can anyone please explain to me what Trial seven is about? I was unfortunately too late getting in to the series to be apart of all that (: but I read up on all of the other trials. From what I've read on Trial seven is was too ambiguous for me to quiet grasp what it was about (:

It looks like we're doing lateral thinking today, so I'll through in my sideways thoughts about Trial Seven.

I've been trying to put together the oddness of the lengthy paragraph about family with the even-odderness of "keep your body breathing" and I have thought up kind of a synthesis.

First, there's the notion that if you do as a person does for long enough, you become like that person. I want to say this ultimately refers back to Jesus, but I can't recall at the moment if that's biblical, apocryphal, or some pop-culture thing I picked up somewhere. Anyway, the Trials have been all about getting the Rabbits to behave in a HABIT-like manner. Perhaps with the completuon of six Trials, HABIT believes the Rabbit Remnant are sufficiently like himself and, thus, family.

Now consider HABIT's relationship to corporeality. It seems that he is an entity within, but distinct from, a number of bodies. To a creature like him and, now, the remaining Rabbits, the current host body is more like a suit of clothing than like something intrinsically bound to his identity. It makes sense for him, then, to speak of maintaining the body as if it were unrelated to maintaining the self.

Tl;dr: HABIT sees the remianing Rabbits as now being entities occupying meatbags rather than normal, unified people.
