This is a big enough oh shit for it's own post. I sent a message to their youtube account asking about why that message was encoded. I got the following reply just now.
Mr. Collector presumably? wrote:
I was trying to be polite and send Mr. Harris's messages for him after I removed his capacity to post them. Not sure what I'm going to do with this channel now. I'm probably going to leave it alone.
Replied asking if it was Stephen sending the message. The response?
:>
I'm afraid he painted a smile for Josh. Thought he'd be around longer.
Edit: New bulletin-

And Mr. Collector posted 25 minutes ago that he's going to explain what happened on Mibit.
And. . . even assuming he's still there I have no idea where on Mibit to find him. I don't see a function to search for user names.
This is going to turn into AG's Facebook debacle all over again isn't it? Please if anyone chatted with him on Mibit tonight let the rest of us know what went on.

I was out at dinner when the Mibbit call went up, but for the record, the channel is #hiscollector.
And I still have no idea what Faceless's QR is meant to lead to.

I've discovered that if I run the codes through a different Base 64 translator than I've been using I get different gibberish than I've been getting, which may be part of the difficulty cracking it. Looks like the problem may have to do with a non-standard (possibly non-English) character set.

For that someone that asked if AP was definitely a part of HisCollector: YES. So, I'm thinking it should stay in this thread. About Faceless, I'm not sure, but if it has been found that her blog is part of HisCollector for sure...
Also, JOSH WAS FIRST?
But Josh is my other favorite. Josh and Alana are brofacessss. -/Whimper-
And did everyone vote for who to keep, yet? Almost September 1st. I voted Alana, of course~

New video ? Haven't watched yet but from the title it seems more like it's from them than from him.
According to the description Courtney "made an awesome creeper cake".
Edit: I don't know if this was uploaded by Josh or not. It was weirdly intercut footage of Josh and Austin (I think it was Austin) discussing the last video with footage of Josh's birthday party. We now know Josh was alive at least long enough to see the last video on youtube and his computer is broken. He still thinks this is some sort of prank by Stephen. No new youtube bulletins and Mr. Collector's newest blog post is unrelated and was up earlier today.
Edit 2: Since the youtube account is thought to be compromised I tweeted them as Mr. Collector hasn't mentioned their twitter.

I severely doubt anyone has died so soon. If they have I will be disappointed (Mr. Collector's cutoff date hasn't even been reached yet for one thing). Speaking of which I still have yet to vote. I wanted to see more of Tyler and Courtney before making my decision but it appears that won't be happening. >:

While admitting that I voted for Alana, do we really - given the secret code phrase - think the vote is going to do any good at all?

New post from Mr. Collector. Most relevant part?

We can be 100% sure now.
He also implies that he uploaded last nights video and that they're still around and able to work on the project.
Edit: New bulletin from APCollection:

Unfortunately, you didn't technically get anything different. The stuff that was enclosed in <> was the hex values for the non-Standard English characters. The new translator you used simply rendered them as what they are rather than giving you the hex values.

New developments on Stephan's blog. Summing up: He's disappointed in not getting as many votes as he hoped. If we voted we obviously trust him to keep his word and if we didn't we think he's a liar. (I pointed out that I voted despite thinking him a liar.) Also the game has already begun. He linked back to APCollection's twitter and youtube account and re-posted APC's picture of Stephan. The only question is which Stephan it's a picture of. Anyone wanting to vote has till 8 AM. I asked him 8 AM in what time zone pointing out he has readers from all over.

Wait a minute . . . are my eyes fooling me or is there text above Stephan's head that's nearly the same color as the background?
Edit: Yes there is. I can't make out the first few sentences but I can read . . .

Okay, this will be my first post on this forum, yay. I like to review the newer Trailheads and this one is at the top of the list so here we go. I am reviewing APCollection based solely on the video aspect. That is about as much as will hold my attention, so if there is some in-depth blog stuff that majorly influence the story then too bad. My interest lies in judging visual story.
I just watched all 6 entries currently out. The series is still young and it could get better or worse. The introductions to this series were acceptable and I like that there was an actual reason for the camera to be running unlike many of the recent series that simply start in the middle of everything with no explanations. The acting is sloppy and drawn out, but it comes off as natural. The friend arriving at the door with distortion is very very effective. On the other hand I don't like the choppy editing that begins on entry 5. They say the video was hacked and that is fine, but entry 6 did basically the same editing style and it started to get old. Overall I will keep my eye on this series and hope for the best to come. Hope I didn't offend anyone and I hope I stated some valid point.
