Checked again...I think my decoding is correct. I'm a he by the way. Here is a more detailed explanation just in case someone can find a mistake in what I did.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1862 2052 1843 1881 2033 608 931 969 608 1995 2185 608 2090 2109 2204 2052 1919 1843 2185 1919 1900 874

Divide by 19 gives

98 108 97 99 107 32 49 51 32 105 115 32 110 111 116 108 101 97 115 101 100 46

Translate to text

black 13 is notleased.

So maybe it's supposed to say "not pleased"?

I did the math again... but my brain seems to shut down in the same place. I got:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
black 13 is otleased.

... but then I went back and checked and compared where we came out different and it seems I dropped one of the numbers somehow.

Last time I needed to decode things I wrote a java code to do it for me automatically... Maybe I should stick to that since I seem to have holes in my brain where I skip entire numbers. Embarassed Latent is definitely right on this one.

Way ahead of you. I'm doing it pretty much wrong, leaving out numbers, but LatentMoths has it:

Definitely seems like proxies are being used. I told Serah and Jack not to trust any of the other survivors should they encounter them,should they be under The Agent's influence. I bet soon enough Operator symbols will start to show up too,or perhaps a new sign for Slendy will be made?

New update: http://doyouliketrees.blogspot.com/2011/09/update-5.html

The New message is double encoded:

>> This url: http://bit.ly/nZJQvk

It leads to the twitter of someone going by "BlackThir13en". There's a code I have no clue how to decode there.

As LatentMoths predicted, the corrected code from before causes it to now read (when divided by 19):
Dec/Char:
98 108 97 99 107 32 49 51 32 105 115 32 110 111 116 32 112 108 101 97 115 101 100 46
>>
black 13 is not pleased.

Perhaps it needs to be reversed, and perhaps it is in some other base. Either 19 or 13, I've done both and found nothing immediately. Still trying.

Here's the code for ease of working on it.

Probably not the right key, but what if we treat the 0's as null characters? So we would have

wellllllll... I figured I'd try just about every decoder I could think of. Which isn't many. So I added an extra 0 to the beginning of each cluster and translated from octal to ASCII and got:

The only thing I can think... Maybe shove a 2 at the beginning, and you have dates. Maybe those are the birthdays of some of the other children? Or maybe some new victims?

Neither of these sound convincing, but I'm not ready to rule anything out yet.

I tried looking at this from a few different angles. So far, nothing found.

A. This may be part of a larger message, or a key to another code. As a result, we may be unable to make any sense of it without more information.

B. The poster uses leet-speak numbers in their name (Thir13en); perhaps he uses them in his codes as well.

3 = E
1 = I, L, T
4 = A
5 = S
9 = Q, G, P
13 = B

Ignoring the possibility of 13 as "B", we have the following letters to work with:

S S S E E E A (I L or T) (Q G or P)

C. Simply adding the values in each column, you get: 11 13 14, which is "JLM" in alpha (and likely means nothing)

D. Assuming this is not a code fragment, or a key to another code, then we can probably assume the zeros are intentional, and may be integral to the ultimate solution. Perhaps stacking vertically, or some other physical manipulation may prove useful. Six total combinations are possible without manipulating the individual numbers:

0030104
0030305
0050905

0030104
0050905
0030305

So, Black Thirteen is an entity.

Question is who uses this name?

Mondai, I like the sounds of that, but it would put the kids at around 8, and 6. doesn't sound like any of the mentioned kids. Umm, I like how it came out in japanese, but that's not a very important figure. Just a letter from the alternate alphabet.
yrch69, Those are some good efforts. I've been using your leads and trying tons of different stuff, but nothing has come out. Keep it up though, thats lots of good ideas.

tried reversing the numbers to try to get a common divisor (100, 50, 25, etc)
5090500
5030300
4010300

nothing really working here

Using the reversed numbers and leetifying:
5090500
S G S

5030300
S E E

4010300
A T E

I really don't think this is going anywhere because of the subjective, multiple choice decision on which letters 9 and 1 will correspond to.

Sorry about this, but the numbers add up to 8 11 14 // HLN in alpha. Still nothing, really.
