You know the more HABIT CYSTW's posts have occurred the more I am inclined to believe these are stories written by someone.

Not truth or reality just made up in the mind of someone, which kid was it who wrote the stories, wasn't it kiddie!jeff or something? What if HABIT is taking those stories or plot lines of stories that had been written at some point and is trying to pass them off as what he/it is.

I'm more inclined to believe he has a huge ego/bravado thing going on than him actually being scary anymore, that or having an inkling of truth in him.

This is brilliant. If true, then I take back every bad thing I ever said about CYSTW and the writer and will gladly worship at the altar of Jeff.

Just quick point. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Habit making the swats turn on eachother. It was Slendy. I'm pretty positive HABITS super-powers don't include mind control(beyond his shell)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Remember back when Evan tried to go to bat with SM? Could he have been inHABITed then? If so, that might mean he is now dead and Habit has been in him since. That would mean not so great things if HABIT left his body wouldn't it? Kinda like Jason's spirit in Jason Goes To Hell. Just a thought....

It's been a pet theory of mine that he was at least partially inHABITed in that scene. Smile

But yeah, bad things on the horizon, man. *readies popcorn*

You've got popcorn? I've got a six-pack of Coke if you're willing to share. *stalks YouTube waiting for next video*

Not mind control. Possession!

Our narrator of this particular piece of HABIT-lore says he believes that HABIT can possess multiple people.

Which also lends credence to the idea that all of our boys have been possessed at one point or another.

Some have asked why has HABIT defined himself.

Frankly,I think this is him saying "its already too late". Think about everything that's happened, I can't think of one goddamn thing that's tripped HABIT up. It's plan has been going on without a hitch, whatever that plan is.
I can't help but to think that with this trial, Evan, and Nicholas, he's got all his pieces. I think he's preparing it, perhaps some things are unfinished, but I think he is really close to finishing this grand scheme.

I just want to make clear my theory is rather loose-ish, but if Jeff ever read From Hell, I could see the pieces fit together. Jack the Ripper's MO fits HABIT, the knives, the language, it's all there...
The Rake is, in the pasta, a symbol for death, how it strikes without warning and watches over people whose fate will come. To me, Rake is sort of an angel of death, only creepy.

As for Evan - WHAT IF HE WAS HABIT ALL THE TIME??
Like, HABIT can inHABIT people, but we know that Evan WAS called HABIT from the beginning. Get this: HABIT found a way to stay in one host by not harming it, pretending to be a bro.

Slenderman saw the danger of the other two boys and transported them all forward in time - maybe tried to splice HABIT and Evan, or inhabiting Evan HIMSELF (we know there is a power struggle - imagine that Slenders put some of his into EVAN to make sure he wouldn't hurt the other two boys).

The pieces fit: HABIT pretends to not 'understand' technical stuff, yet tweets all the time. He's weirded out why Slenderbuddy is around and wants to fight him, then (see twitter conversation) finds out a bit of Slenderman is inside him as well, struggling to get rid of it (Horcrux much??). He thinks by now he got away with it, but Rake still interferes.

Looking at Evan, he's got this weird crazy edge we observed from the beginning - what if that isn't Evan's crazy edge, but HABIT pretending to be normal?

And then Slenderman calmly walks in and scatters all his nicely organized pieces and then proceeds to end HABIT the instant before his grand plan is realized. This. Must. Happen. All HABIT's buildup, all his planning, swept away in one grand move by mister faceless. It would be epic!

That Depends On Who's Side HABIT Is On.

Eh, maybe a Michael Bay flick.

I can't say I'm thrilled by all the action movie stuff that's been creeping into the mythos lately. I find it particularly jarring in vlogs because the limitations of the medium mean you can't really have the sort of high-octane action sequence of the sort described in that blog post on-camera, so you have to resort to stuff like the blog posts to describe them so the stuff that happens on-camera seems kind of tame compared to what's going on in your blog.

I mean, the strength of the vlog format is that it's perfect for low-key, subtle horror. I think it's kind of a shame that so many vloggers are steering away from that.

I respectfully disagree here. The limitations that the creators have are being used smartly here. I envisioned that entire thing in my head so clearly as I read it, I didn't need to see it for real, because it wouldn't have been nearly as good as what I had already pictured in my own head. Kind of like reading a book and always believing the book is better than the movie when you finally see it. Big budget action sequences aren't the norm in this genre, but that doesn't mean that we won't get something akin to that as a special treat before this is all over.

Even if we don't, that's not the intended result anyway. This is a horror story and I think to that end, they have done a fantastic job with creating something uniquely horrific.

Edit: Crap, I had to go back and edit the quote since I erased too much...lol

All these HABIT posts make me very inclined to believe that HABIT needs his victims to tell their stories.
Seemingly every victim is forced to record their personal events involving HABIT, but for what purpose?
Is it simply his Modus operandi, a calling card, or is there actual power attained from this ritual?

Here, I fixed your post.

I think HABIT just enjoys letting people think they're getting a leg up on him with all their stories, so it's that much more satisfying when he ruins them. Seems like something he'd do.

Seems like something we can exploit.
