Okay it works for me on Firefox.
I tried to send an email back to DFG security telling them to explain their side.
However nothing.

And yeah i agree Ceribri.

Haha, agree on what? I've been spewing out so much info and editing/re-editing and now it's 8:15am, I'm having trouble keeping track of myself. Laughing

Edit: Got this reply.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The empathy device installed in 3927, and later models (see: Jonathan) is a major problem, it becomes obsessed with both freedom and
friendships, whereas it's purpose is to distinguish the difference between allies and enemies.

about the info we got while F's reflection was active/deactive.

Quote:
me: the subject has issues by your standards, not by ours. In our opinion the
'subject' is functioning fine. you are yet to provide us with evidence to the contrary.

Reply: The subject is mine, not yours - I needn't provide any evidence for anything.

Touche DFG, Touche...

Aaaaah, gotcha. It didn't seem too OOC for F, though, during the reflection. They just seem to know more than they have access to, regarding us.

Ouch, DFG, touche.

More convo:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Me: So I take it Jonathan and F 3927 are robots, then? Have they become so problematic in their sentience that you have to terminate them?

DFG: Jonathan was the leader of a riot that 3927 and many others also
participated in (see: Jan09Riot) hence why he was terminated, and
3927's memory was wiped. 3927 is the test case, if we cannot fix the
freedom issue, the whole model range will be terminated and scrapped.

So.. I'm kind of wondering, what now?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Me: Is there something I can do to help?

DFG: No, since my ideal is a subject without feelings, you will disagree.

Me: If I can know that these robots without feelings is for the benefit of humanity, you may find that I am most agreeable.

Kind of sounds.. finished to me, although with us clocking in at only about five hours to get to this point, I'd like to think it's not quite over... but the PM hasn't shown up either, so who knows right now.

me: Are we ever going to get to speak to F 3927 again?

Maybe not finished.

DFG is assuring me he is unchanged. I've run out of things to ask without seeming like a pain. Suppose we should wait for F and keep checking the terminal.

Wow! Some decent headway was made last night, he he. Talking to DFG security and all. I had about a 2 hour convo with F via email last night as well. He said he'd found a picture of the house he was in on the computer and I was trying to get him to attach it. In our last convo he said he would try to send it but he was drowsy and needed to go to sleep. That was the last of our communication. I sent another email about half an hour ago but I haven't gotten a response yet.

First things first, I am the puppet master. I would like to thank you all for being players in my first ever ARG. Secondly, this is nowhere near finished. I will admit that I am making things up as I go along, I did have a slight plan but this has taken off on a scale I did not expect. But this is nowhere near finished. I will give you one clue about the next step - watch the terminal closely over the next few hours, you will need to take advantage of the new features. Also, only one player knows about F's current state (thankyou for providing a name for him, by the way Razz)

Hello I've been lurking on this ARG, and started messing around with the terminal a little while ago

got a few more ".txt" on the file list

Files list on 'root':
1625A.txt
CF3927_a.JPG
8476D.txt
8476E.txt
8476G.txt
8476F.txt

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1625A.txt

Hibernation Guide
A subject can be placed under hibernation by twisting the power pack on the back of their neck.
To awaken a subject of compound E or above, access the terminal and use the AWAKENSUBJECT command, and follow the instructions.
To awaken a subject of compound D or below, you will need to awaken them with Base64.

Footnote:
dGhlIHRydXRoIGlzIGJ1dCBhIGxpZSwgYW5kIHRoZSBsaWVzIGFyZSBhbGw
gcHJldGVuZC4gVGhlIGdhbWVzIGFyZSBzZXJpb3VzLCBhbmQgdGhlIHRlc3RzIGFyZSBhIGpva2Uu

the truth is but a lie, and the lies are all pretend. The games are serious, and the tests are a joke. {this is the base64 translated text}

8476D.txt was already posted

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
8476E.txt
Edits to subject 3927
Following his multiple plans to escape, we have hopefully removed his ability to free speech.
In testing, he did not reply, but he would react to his surroundings.
He is the first subject to have this system implemented, however, so we will need him to undergo further testing, and we expect problems to arise.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
8476G.txt

Subject 3927 has been hibernated until an undefined date.
He has been hibernated for showing extreme aggressiveness and will to escape the compound, and the facility.
Follow the instructions found in 1625A.txt should he need to be awakened.
Reykyovik and Smith have discussed the matter of 3927 and his assistants, transcript can be found in 8476G.txt

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
8476F.txt

Reykyovik and Smith - subject 3927 transcript

Reykyovik: The subject must be terminated. Him and his assistants pose too much of a threat to be allowed to run loose and do as they please.
Smith: The filter is strong enough to stop him giving any information out, we are safe.
Reykyovik: They have managed to crack into the terminal, they have seen the picture.
Smith: They have cracked into the terminal?
Reykyovik: Yes, they are a lot less amatuer than it first seemed.
Smith: Well should we shut the terminal down?
Reykyovik: No, keep the terminal operable for the moment.
Smith: But why?
Reykyovik: So that we can gather more information on their motives - I cannot see why they would desire to help a subject!
Smith: Then we keep the subject alive too,... *Reykyovik interrupts*
Reykyovik: Keep him alive? Tell him you're not developing feelings too?!
Smith: ...as bait.

I'm sorry i got kind of ahead , and entered AWAKENSUBJECT 3927

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Subject awakened. Send this message to the subject's computer mainframe:
39FawaXs27FkenzE

however the message was not on base64 i will try and decode that

from the conversation transcription, it seems that the awakened "F" will be used as decoy, maybe puting him on reflection mode can help??
