I think this entry comes before entry 38. I think Alex had the intent of killing Jay but as we saw, he failed so he tells Jay to meet him at Rosswood Park for another go. I think Alex will fail in trying to kill him so TO wipes Jay's memory in order to protect Alex to some degree? Absurd I know but my mind has been shredded.

Alex whispered "Stop following me, I know you're there." He whispered it when walking through the woods, when a light amount of static came up (I want to say around 1:15). I think he knew the operator was following him and was talking to him, and actually tried to attack him.

 		Cool, it's probably going to tie into #38. Maybe #38 will end up tying into #29.

Other than that, not sure what's supposed to be so amazing. It was good, yes, but the utter lack of fight choreography or physical effects is, as usual, a severe disappointment. The found footage excuse only gets you so far when it comes to actually showing things in a coherent manner.

 		In terms of timeline, what seems most plausible is that Jay has been watching this the whole time, waits for Alex to leave, then enters the tunnel himself. At that point the events in the tunnel that were on Jay's camera, with the bloody rock, occur. The next day is entry 38.

I think we have to assume that part of Jay's memory was erased when he encountered the Operator--why else would he agree to meet Alex after having witnessed these events?

I would doubt about the operator attacking him. I think it was more directed at Jay or hoody masky. its at 1:19 and 1:25 when he talks.
