I mean, it was my first instinct, but this is all just speculation. Who knows, he might not have been talking to Jay, it's very possible. The reason why it made most sense to me is because Jay has gotten caught several times by Alex while following him. This entry seems like a really messed up case of Boy Who Cried Wolf (or rock).

And I do apologize if I sound a little scatterbrained, it's quite late where I am

That is why Alex is fighting against this feeling to murder his best friend, but couldn't stop himself. Lucky for Jay, Bruce took the hit.


THAT is very astute! It lends a lot more credence, in my opinion, to Alex's whispers being directed at Jay! He's tried for so long to keep Jay away so that he wouldn't be forced to hurt him, like he did Bruce and possibly tim/amy.

Oh yeah, they totally can. Pretty much anyone BUT Jay can die. Jay pretty much can't, by virtue of the medium.

 		Y'know, if (and only if) the progression is 49-38-29, since there is fresh blood on the rock on 29 that probably means Alex killed someone else between this entry and those entries. Or at the very least wounded someone. Maybe Jessica?

Would that be the same blood from 29? If so I feel that 29 had to happen very soon after 49 because all the blood seemed fairly fresh in 29. I'm not an expert on blood tho so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hard to say if that's blood--it could just be nasty ass water, which does tend to collect in tunnels like those. I'm assuming you're referring to the water on the side of the tunnel in 29?

It's another Where's Waldo moment. Looks like The Operator, but can't confirm that it's actually him. Either way, there's a creepy humanoidoid silhouette.

Compare with this later image, flipped and rotated.



I won't force it, but I personally think it's a pretty strong match what with his stance and the ribbing of the pipe.
