Play With Your Words & Be Visual
Play and Look

Play with the words to see what is visual on a google map. Look at things for not what they are but for what the could represent on a map and in a park.

sorry, i never really got into this...once I learned that not being in New York would count against me so much

so I have no idea if this is still ongoing or what....but if it is:

yesterday, i stumbled across this site: http://www.twinity.com/en/newyork

it is a virtual world of new york that is supposed to be true to scale...it might be of some use to players who are a aborad

google maps is great, but it wasn't very helpful for the central park clues (i can't say how much this would help either, to be honest, but figure i would pass it along)

Riding the subway -WLOG
Seat color theory

Hey, First post. I've been following this hunt when I've been able. I've read a bunch of the posts here, and I'm sorry if this gets shot down for already being dismissed as a logical route on the subway, but here goes.... The starting place for the subway ride is obviously Columbus Circle. As a daily commuter on the Number 1 Line, I always assumed the background colors in Ep 3, orange, orange, yellow, yellow, were the color of the seat backs in the subway car. Only the No. 1 line has cars that have this seat combo, usually near the doorways, the rest of the car seats in orange or yellow. Tom's repetition of ichi, ni, san, (One, two, three) supports taking the # 1 train. Using the number of times the pirates are shown, (a total of 32), and the number of times Mario is shown on a blue background WITH the pirates (10) equals 42. The Port of Cortland, I think refers to the Cortlandt St. Station on the # 1 line, which would be 13 stops from Columbus Circle, ( or 14 if you count Columbus circle as One)and coincides with the 13th time the Pirates are shown, with the Captain's line" Those be lies Lawrence...." It's logical to me to transfer at Chamber Street to the 2, 3 line. Because the Cortlandt St station on the 1 line no longer exists (destroyed on 9-11, and has yet to re-open, The Port of Cortland=Cortlandt St station at WTC, which is owned by the Port Authority of NY & NJ), the journey would continue on the 2,3 line (13th or 14th stop being Park Place) 2+3=5. Continuing on the 2,3 line, the 'last' stop would be Pennsylvanina Av,or Junius St., but Tom's clues in Ep 4. especially 28 Fulongs, followed by Crother's saying "You've gone too far" ((Does 28 Furlongs have anything to do with Saratoga Av??)) ANd now I am confused. I just don't see how what I've got so far is any less of a leap of faith when I've read all sorts of different theories about how to justify starting at Columbus Circle and using the NQR, BDFM yellow & orange combination, when none exists at Columbus Circle. Help ?? Aaahhhhhrggggggggggg.

The Gorilla was stated to NOT be a clue. Ticker in Ep 3.
