I emailed Jean Klein to offer my help and already received a response. It basically just thanked me for helping. She is waiting for the rest of the team to email her so she can send out the information one time to all of us. She said to expect more from her in a few hours.

Yep, me too. On a side note, I finally got an email reply from Alex about what has been happening lately. He had some funny things to say about Pedro.

The VIPs are some people from NASA. It's a deal between Don and the US government. It's all right, might be useful on our end, so should be ok. Sorry took me a while to respond, I'm no longer as keen to respond to emails lately as some work has piled up on me. I am not aware of any Protocol 5 activations in any of our facilities recently. Are you sure they're from our facilities?

Ah, don't bother much in contacting Jose. He's not the best person to answer questions especially about his own projects. He's not so intelligent himself to understand them. No offense to him, but he's not one of the brightest persons I know, but I'll admit he can handle tasks and his projects like a real stereotypical boss. Plus, FIRST is in his line of interest so he might not be so happy with people meddling with it. Just leave him alone, he should be fine. If not, I'll be the first one to tell you to kick his ass and help him out.

as the way I picture it, Pedro must be that stereotypical brute who's a good leader, but not so much in the brains department... heh Laughing

let me picture the other characters:

Daniel is this naive guy who think he's helping, and yet he's teh one who get's in trouble.

Alex is the rich and "powerful" snob who has his own motives he won't reveal until it's too late.

While Genus is the "evil scientist"...

hahaha, I just thought those characterizations were funny.... and stereotypical.

I just perused the old pages of this topic... man, FAILTECH has been a whirlwind! I'm not sure which episode is my favorite yet. I missed the reboot in ep2, but not the logic stuff in ep3. All of the emailing back and forth during ep3 was probably my favorite, yet some of those ciphertexts were downright evil.

I'm guessing we're signing nondisclosure agreements again? Oh boy, nostalgia!

Hello!

In this email you will be briefed with the situation we are facing. One of our top engineers passed away. It was unfortunate, as he was one of the best and has worked with the company for a very long time. Yes he works for KEC (Klein Energy Corp, or Klein Energy) but has also been a involved in some FAILTECH project such as the proprietary power core that LAINSY uses. He is a valuable asset to the company and we are very sad for him to be gone. Don't worry, he died of natural causes on his sleep, which I personally think is the best way to die.

Anyways, he left behind documents for the company and some of them are encrypted. Of those files, it includes a blueprint of the newer version of the TOP SECRET "device" that actually powers and makes our energy generation products work. Although, LAINSY's power cores are slightly different which allows us to manufacture cores for her. However, all our other products require this blueprint. It's still a prototype for the newer version slated for 2013, however, it would be great if get it decrypted so that we could continue improving and perfecting it soon.

Don't worry, this is not a very time-sensitive operation. We can still meet manufacturing of current versions for this year and next year. But yes, it is still important for us to get those documents decrypted. Daniel told me you are the people for the job, and I feel guaranteed that all of you can work it out. However, before anything else, I would want to assure myself that you will keep all documents passed to and from be kept in the highest secrecy. Because, this is still partly FAILTECH technology, so they are still something only FAILTECH (and KEC being a part of FAILTECH) can do.

I would want you to have to sign a legal document. I don't have those documents on hand right now, but I will email it to anyone who is still willing to push through. Please promptly reply if you are still willing to push through and I will send out the document to be printed, signed, and scanned by you and sent back to me. This is just for legal concerns if ever any document you handle will leak out into the wild.

Owner and Founder, KEC
I replied and asked Jean to send it to me. Wow, this reminds me of the time that we actually had Daniel call us to give us a password. That was epic cool! My favorite part was episode 3 when Lainsy went postal on the CIA!

No. I think from here on out 45459 is going to be disconnected from FAILTECH major.

I think so, too. So far, we have no character named Ruby... so 45459 might have another arc on it's own...

I sent in my NDA and got a reply:
Quote:
Thank you! I've got your NDA, and I have promptly archived a copy.

I will send you over to our Secure File Storage area of the site later today where you can get your own copy of the encrypted document, and some other documents that might be of help decrypting the encrypted ones. We will be preparing a special login for those who signed the NDA, like you, where you can obtain copies of the documents. It is by recommendation of Daniel to create this extra precaution to prevent malicious access to files.

It will take us a couple of hours to establish this advanced setup so please be patient. I will email your personal login, once your access is setup.

Haha, that was fun, I'll get my own special login, so it's probably worth the effort.

Awww, so does that mean if don't contact Jean, we can't gain access to the files? That's sad. I guess I'll have to email her as well?

I never realized you don't actually communicate with anyone. Man, most of the immersion is emailing these people!
