No they didn't. They said the exact opposite of that.

^Yes, but to begin with, they had no real plans. In the commentary they said they didn't expect it to go beyond 20 entries, and originally, totheark didn't even exist.

I believe they said in the radio interview that they didn't figure out that they needed another season until somewhere around 23.

Ah sorry, my mistake. I don't have the dvd so not aware of the commentary Smile

However, I'm hoping we haven't seen the last of the red tower. Very cool location imo. Kinda hoping they are going back to the place where MH was shot in season 3.

I hope we see the Basement of Doom again too, but I doubt it because IIRC Troseph almost got arrested for filming in there.

I just pictured people just sitting there hoping for wildfires to start.

No maybe option???

I have to go with maybe. I haven't thought about it until, well, now, but it does seem possible that it might come back. I can see it going both ways.

I think it's interesting that while so much of the MH action takes place in the woods, the really pivotal points all take place near manmade structures, even while in wooded areas.

Honestly, I haven't been seriously scared of MH since season one. It just feels like a tv series now. But if they returned to the old places, specifically that tower or the basement, I would jump and scream and excrete building materials. I guess that would just make it seem real to me again, not sure why. Maybe because everything about the current setting, living in apartments completely separate from where they used to live with seemingly no jobs, seems completely off.

The purpose of the tower was that it held the tape from entry 22. Jay went inside and got the tape. Subplot resolved.

Who the fuck told you about season 3? Pretty sure Troy said that MH will end in season 2 because they want to focus on their other stuff, like comedy.

Troy announced the third season on his blog: http://jtroyw.blogspot.com/2011/08/that-announcement-thing.html

I can't remember him mentioning that. When did that happen.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pretty sure it's in the Radio Interview on Troy's OOG channel, troyhasacamera. Also may be in the DVD commentary... I don't remember if they talked about it or not. Most of their commentary is completely irrelevant and pointless (and hilarious).
