MC Slender?

The story of Slenderman is obvious. In the past life he was an aspiring hip-hop artist who was known in the rap game as "The Operator" for the way he spit his flows with such surgical precision. But then when Slim Slendy was about to make it big and record his first demo, he realized that his presence caused all recording equipment to go haywire and distort all of his dirty rhymes. His dreams crushed, The Operator killed himself and now spends his ghostly afterlife tormenting the young MCs of earth and through Alex's murders, creating a record label of undead hip-hop stars known as "Yung Slendy." His focus on Jay is evident by Jay's nasty beats and sweet flow. It all makes sense now.
Are you saying his faceless-ness might have been him killing himself by scratching a record with his face?

That is a possibility. But I believe that he chooses to shroud his face because of the large amount of embarrassing tatoos on his face which he thought were dope back in his prime but now he realizes that it makes him look like an ugly jackass.

Huh... apparently The Operator doesn't teleport, he's just crazy fast when not observed.

Not so much as that as he doesn't move linearly.

I'm stuck at home today and dealing with an obnoxious amount of pain going through my entire body... But reading this conversation made my day a million times better because I can't stop laughing, thinking about the season 3 finale (after rewrites) where all of this is revealed. I love you all so much Laughing

I think this needs its own spin off tv series. I started on the lyrics to the opening theme:

Now this is a story all about how my face upturned inside out, and I'd like to take a minute before you put on your boots, and tell you how I became a faceless man wearing a suit.

(Next line for someone else to write.)

EDIT: (To the theme of Fresh Prince, DUH)

Maybe the Operator moves in a way that humans can't comprehend. Perhaps in a transdimensional direction?

Maybe. The way I've always looked at it is like this:

When humans (or anything else that normally follows the laws of physics as we understand them) take a "step" (in this context, a theoretical unit describing a single act of moving forward), the amount of distance we can cover is defined by the mechanics that our limbs and joints follow during the act of "stepping."

The Operator, following his own laws of reality, does not have this limitation. When he "steps," he ends up wherever he wants.

"Bruce" totally looks like Harley from Epic Meal Time. Any takers?

Hey, isn't the blood from 29 fresh as evidenced by the camera man feeling the blood on the rock and having it come off on his fingers? Alex tells Jay to meet him at Rosswood "tomorrow". Would the blood on the rock from Bruce's murder still be wet a day later?

Yeah we have beaten this one to death, actually. Someone here said they knew someone who was a major in...something that would involve knowing about blood. Anyway, blood would stay wet only for a few hours after being spilled. Possibilities are:

1) 29 is the same day as 49, where Jay returns a few hours later to have a look see. This is my personal theory.

2) The blood in 29 isn't Bruce's. A second murder has taken place by the time 29 rolls around.

3) Rain, possibly combined with dampness, gets the blood wet again the next day. It does seem possible it's raining in 29--there's water collecting at the side of the tunnel.

4) OOG mistake--Marble hornets guys didn't look into it/consider that the blood may have dried.

In my case, I would remove the whole idea of a second murder. It's like they're literally shoving it right in our faces, the white shirt, blood, rock, everything. And I doubt it's an error either. I believe what you believe to.

But my honest opinion is:

29 Is Jay going to Rosswood as Alex said to, turning out to be a trap, seeing the Operator, Alex nowhere to be seen, Jay finds the chest cam, picks it up and runs for the tunnel to get away from the operator, who unfortunately was waiting for him there. Poor Jay :/

Why do people think that Alex thought he was attacking Jay in this one? He's crazy but he's not blind (assuming he's keeping the prescription on his lenses up to date *studio audience laughter*).

Maybe throughout the period that Alex was being stalked by Jay, he knew someone was following him but wasn't sure who. Maybe he thought it was a "psychopath in a mask." If he didn't get a good look at Jay in the bushes, maybe he thought it was Bruce who was watching him. In Entry 45, he did say that if he would kill Hoody or Masky if they ever got near him again.

Not sure if the Operator is controlling Alex's actions. Being around it all the time might have made him extremely paranoid and unhinged. Then again, maybe that's how the Operator operates people.
