If you go to argloop.co.cc/earth the page is now black and you will see what looks like a white rip in the page or something over on the right. Click it and it brings you to a page with a huge smiley and the words Ai: SMIT. Hmm...

 		Small update to the OOG sectionof the website regarding the AI hack that aquarius904 refers to in the above post.

Also I believe I have finally decoded the ciphers on the /earth page. I sent an email and I'll wait for a response before I explain the solution here.

Awesome. Good to see someone is still into it. I came up with a reason why the Scorpions and Space and Time are fighting and got approval from the PM, I just haven't heard anything from Matt yet. I'm definitely interested in seeing the solution to the Ciphers!

The problem is that while the ciphers went unsolved, nothing really happened with this. I am sure that most (if not all) players that originally signed up have moved on to something else. Maybe things will pick up and bring some people back...we'll see. Regardless I don't like leaving a code unbroken so here is the solution that was verified by email last night.

As someone figured out right away the first line was a number to letter substitution. Apply that to the whole block to get

Next I found (and posted a while back) that the second line was a Vigenere cipher with keyword "find". My mistake was not decoding the entire block at once. I was trying to go line by line and that just doesn't work. So decoding the remaining coded lines with keyword "find" gives

 		The website has updated. The original game that we signed up for with the Scorpions and Space & Time teams will possibly be moving forward soon. For solving those ciphers I was given the choice of coming up with my own ARG or getting an advantage in an ARG that was already running. Since I don't have the time and resources to come up with a good ARG I took the advantage. I don't know what that means yet. Sign up for the new game I unlocked is also on the site for those that are interested. Looks like that one will start around the 20th.

Invalid was added later on.

The email recieved later was this:
